Preliminary Exploration Of Multiple Influencing Factors Of Shanxi Traditional Residential Courtyards' Form

Shanxi with a wealth of terrain and mountainous landscape,forming a unique clim ate characteristics,it has latitudinal climate and significant elevation changes.Natural factors provide a natural protective barrier to traditional houses,due to low human impact,most houses were able to save from the Ming and Qing dynasties to the present,and has a very high research value,functions in the courtyard dwellings should not be ignored,the size and form of its existence reflects a region's climate,the environment and the economy,the characteristics of cultural customs.At present,the study of traditional residential courtyards are developing from basing on the emotional experiences towards basing on rational data.This article tries to use research data combined with the character of regional environment to explore multiple influencing factors of Shanxi traditional residential courtyards' form.Chapter one introduced the background of study on traditional residential courtyards;explained why choose "traditional folk House in Shanxi province","compound","multiple factors" as the direction of the topic;and then defined and limited the "courtyard" and the age span of selected residential areas;presented the purpose and significance of this research;integrated current situation of domestic and foreign research;presented this article's research method and framework.Chapter two introduced the preparation work before analyzing the data:first,obtained 30 sample selected as the object of study from the total sample129 with statistical formulas,divide villages according to village distribution grid,deter mining the number of samples respectively obtained at the 7 levels in the grid;finally,sampling with random systematic sampling method.,get 30 specific villages' name and location;secondly,based on the data and images through field research,statistics the village courtyard property,extract "typical courtyard" of each village as a present to better analyze next step;finally,introduced additional information and data acquisition and processing methods besides the courtyard property.Chapter three describes factors affecting individual data source,as well as data comparison methods,get separate individual influencing factors on morphology of comp ound function by analyzing the trend of the data and trends,made a detailed analysis of topography factors and latitude and longitude factors,made a brief analysis of climate factors and administrative distance factors.due to cultural practices factors cannot get data,it was not mentioned in this chapter,and was placed in the fourth chapter.Chapter four integrated analyzed the above factors:first of all,according to the elder's writings and,the specific terrain,and climate characteristics,divided Shanxi into North,West,Central,East,South,Southeastern six region;next,discussed multiple influencing factors of Shanxi traditional residential courtyards' form.In subregion,and analyzed the specific effects of multiple factors on 5connects of Shanxi traditional residential courtyards' form;finally,integrated,and sorted factors according to affecting impact strength.Chapter five is a summary,which summarized full text of the study.
