Research On The Interaction Design Of Automobile On-board Control HMI In Intelligence Era

Interaction design plays an irreplaceable instructive role in the design of electronic products and smart products.It covers HCI design and emotion design of all the software and hardware,which has been prominently applied in personal mobile products.Although there are outstanding manufacturers such as Tesla,BMW,Audi leading the design trend in on-board control HMI design,there’s no unified software and hardware platform formed.Every manufacturer also has its own advantage on interaction design.Especially when these manufacturers chinesization the global products for Chinese users,which left various pain points and pities on experience,for example:BMW’s navigation system use postal code to search locations.This paper emphasizes on the study of how to design a user-friendly and good-looking on-board control HMI to not only satisfy Chinese users’ needs and pain points,but also adapt to their behaviors.This paper will probe on the features of the on-board control HMI products drivers used during their driving from the perspective of a commercialized design solutions I personally involved,combined with current theory and experience base of interaction design and user experience,to design an on-board control HMI products that satisfies users’ overall needs from pre-driving,driving and post-driving stages to improve users’ overall automobile driving experience.This paper’s innovative value is to develop an normative interaction design theory and methods based on the touchable on-board control HMI through the research of target user group’s transportation needs,covering the psychological and physiological changes in driving scenarios and combine with the advantages of current on-board control HMI.This will help to bring our country’s on-board control HMI design industry’s design to next level and enhance the scientificalness of on-board control HMI design,save manufacturers’ cost of development and speed up the experience accumulation of design companies.Meanwhile,it also shows the practical significance on the improvement of actual users’ driving experience and safety enhancement.
