Research On Conservation And Regeneration Of Historical Resources In Hangzhou Old City In Terms Of Regulatory Detailed Planning

Since conservation system of historical and cultural heritage set up,China has already promulgated a serial of regulations for conversation,regeneration and reconstruction.As an important non-renewable resource,heritage’s historical value and social development value have been well known.Numerous works have carried out to turn historical and cultural heritages into hot tourism destination.As a result,old cities attract more people and improve their influence.However,after so many years of reconstruction,old cities are faced with new problems.With inappropriate development,traditional buildings were demolished and converted into fake antique,in order to satisfy tourists’ needs.The construction,in turn,caused irreversible damages.The construction process should be strictly controlled by the conversation planning and regulations,which in the regulatory detailed planning are not fully considered.It reflects a major problem in the planning system of China.The contradiction between conversation and development has not been solved in the regulatory detailed planning.In this context,this article conducts a substantial and theoretical research on the conversation and regeneration of historical resources in regulatory detailed planning.The article can be divided into three parts.Part one:Chapter One to Chapter Three.By analysis of the cases,in this part,the article summarizes the reasons for the above-mentioned problems and learns from foreign practical experience.Part two:Chapter Four.With Spatial Information technology,this part sets up an evaluation system of historical value and developing value of city blocks.Hubinqingbo Unit,one of the richest areas of historical resources in Hangzhou,is the main research object.Part three:Chapter Five.In terms of the evaluation result,this chapter studies on more historical valuable blocks in Hubinqingbo Unit,including regeneration methods,underground space,and so forth.This research developed a new evaluation system based on blocks,which efficiently connects conversation planning and regulatory detailed planning and contribute to the implementation of protective methods and measures.Besides,improving the ability to protect historical resources will not only benefit the development of Hangzhou,but also make Hangzhou a leading role in China’s old cities.
