| The design of traditional monohull aircraft carriers is limited by the structure of the form,which is faced with many problems.As a new ship,the pentamaran has a huge advantage in terms of structure and performance and has broad application prospects.Combine the pentamaran technology and aircraft carriers design technology and form the design of pentamaran aircraft carrier.It will have great significance and research value.The design of pentamaran aircraft carrier consists of the overall design elements,the design of flight deck and hangar,cabin layout design and calculation of resistance and seakeeping.Firstly,the overall design of the pentamaran aircraft carrier is made.The carrier-based aircraft selection,the way of taking off,power systems and propulsion systems are demonstrated.With the use of aircraft carriers design technology and pentamaran design data,from the perspective of performance and structure the principal dimensions of the main hull and sponsons are selected.The molded lines of the main hull and sponsons are designed based on the parent transformation method.The positions of sponsons are determined and the hydrostatics calculations are conducted.And the 3D models of the pentamaran aircraft carrier are established.Secondly,the design of flight deck and hangar are conducted.From a variety of factors the flight deck design is demonstrated and five kinds of design schemes are genereated.In terms of the most quantity of aircrafts loaded,feasibility of structure,convenience of allocation and transportation,the capability of taking-off and recovery and the survival ability and other point of views,schemes are analysised and demonstrated and the double rectangulars flight deck scheme is chosen as the final scheme.The flight deck design scheme selected is analyzed under five conditions of aircrafts allocation and transportation and the accessibility of allocation and transportation is evaluated.At last the hangar is designed,the principal dimensions are determined and the layout of the hangar is conducted and the capacity of loading of hangar is got.Then,the design of cabin layout is conducted.Discuss the principle and classification requirements of cabin layout of aircraft carriers.The cabin layout of each deck of the superstructure,main body besides the flight deck and the sponsors are designed in detail.The actual volume of each deck compartment,sponsors and superstructure were calculated approximately using molded capacity and molded capacity coefficient of each layer of cabin.Therefore,the volume of the whole ship is got approximately.Calculate the cabin volume of the life support systems,aviation support systems,navigation support systems and combat support systems,as well as the key cabins including the ammunition tanks,aviation kerosene cabins and catering cabins.The cabin layout and tank capacity calculation for the pentamaran aircraft carrier are conducted,which provides a certain basis for the feasibility of cabin arrangement.Finally,this paper calculates and analyzes the resistance of the pentamaran aircraft carrier by the mean of the slender body analysis method with the use of the Maxsurf-Resistance software.The free surface wave characteristic was obtained at the design speed,curves of the total resistance,engine power,the bare hull resistance coefficient,residual resistance coefficient,friction resistance coefficient,wave resistance and viscous resistance coefficient are got with the speed changing and these curves are analyzed.This paper also calculates and analyzes the seakeeping performance by the mean of the Strip theory basing on the Maxsurf-Motions.The significant amplitude value of the vessel motion response are got at different stages(different sea conditions,different speeds and different course angles)and on the basis of aircraft taking-off,landing and allocation criteria,the suitable stages(sea conditions,speeds and course angles)are obtained for aircraft taking-off,landing and transporting.The RMS polar graphs are got under the different sea conditions including the ideal touchdown point heave response and the response of heave,roll and pitch at the centre of gravity and the RAO curves of three kinds of motions are got at the center of gravity at different course angles.The course angles of negative response of heave,roll and pitch are analyzed and summarized.According to the curves of RAO of heave,roll and pitch at the centre of gravity,the wave frequencies of peak points of three kinds of response are analyzed and summarized at different course angles.This provides references for the vessel changing speed and course angles to avoide the adverse encounter frequency. |
