With constant progress of the current science and technology,automobile industry is quickly developing,and automobiles have become essential means of transport for modern people’s travels.However,with the constant increase of the amount of traffic accidents,thesafety performance of automobiles is being paid more and more attention.In numbers of traffic accidents,those resulted from tire blowout account for a large proportion.Thus,developing a kind of run-flat tire suitable for common people is extremely urgent.In this project,by taking compact car as the design basis,various run-flat tire systems which can cooperate with standard rims and tires are researched.The interior support should reach to corresponding standards,which can not only ensure automobile’ s safety and reduce automobile’ s offset when tire bursting,but also make the automobiles continue to move for a distance.Detailed research and analysis to run-flat tire systems of interior support type are made.By combiningoverseas and domestic research status to grasp the basic principles of interior support design and summarizing the advantages and disadvantages of the current used run-flat tire,interior supports of various versions are designed,and then analytic demonstration is made to interior supports of various versions from aspects of structure,material,cost,intensity and so on.The main research contents are as follows:3D design software is used to do the structural modeling and fabrication to tire,rim,and interior supports.By interior support drop analysis and hit theory,relationship between the impulse load and quality can be gotten,and then multi-objective size optimization and topological optimization to the interior supports of different structures,and modal analysis to after-optimization models under prestress and non-prestress are carried out.Different finite element models according to automobile’s different operation phases are created,and dynamic simulation analysis by LS-DYNA software to the smooth operation under different speeds before tire bursting,tire bursting under extreme speed,and the running after the tire bursting under the speed required by international standards to get the load and deformation situation of the interior supports components under different states is made.RADIOSS is used to make the fatigue analysis to the interior supportrunning after the tire bursting.By the structure optimization of interior,different types of interior supports’ optimal models under different levels,and the applicable automobile types can be gotten.By dynamic simulation analysis,it can be concluded that the interior support structure can completely satisfy the design requirements,and agree with results of statics analysis.If various interior support production were launched on the market,they would have good prospects,and could better ensure the drivers’ safety during their travels.
