In recent years,along with the handing equipment in container terminal developing towards large-scale,automated and more efficient,maintenance management issues become increasingly prominent.As the types and construction of container terminal equipment is complex and the failureisrandomness,all these make maintenance management become a verycomplex question.This paper introduces Reliability Centered Maintenance(RCM)to themaintenance management of port equipment in the purpose of achieving reliability-based maintenance management in port.It makes a deep research on the maintenance decision of main equipment in the Tianjin Port Container Terminal.The main contents are as follows:First of all,loading and unloading process of Tianjin Port Container Terminal is researched and analyzed.This paper analyzes the working principle of the main equipment in Tianjin Port Container Terminal and analyzes the structure of quay crane and yard crane,and uses FMEA(Failure Mode and Effect Analysis)to analyze the failure modes and effects.The paper uses expertsurveysand field investigations methods to analyze the failure mode,the cause of failures,the effect of failures,the severity levels and the detectability levels of the function of device subsystems.For failure situation,it uses a cumulative failure rate of equipment and figures out the occurred levels.The accuracy of overall rating is improved through using the analytic hierarchy process to determine the right weight of severity level,the occurred degree and the detectability level,and confirm the risk level of equipment failure modes.Secondly,according to the reliability analysisresults,itfinishes the maintenance decision of key equipment offianjin Port Container Terminal.Based on the basic theory of Reliability Centered Maintenance(RCM),the paper establishes a maintenance ways decision model for main equipment ofTianjinPort Container Terminal.Italsofinishesthe failuremode’s maintenance ways decision of quay crane and yard crane.Besides,under the conditions of without constraints,according to the economy and the availability Principles,it introduces the method to calculate the maintenance cycle of preventivemaintenance,and figure out the maintenance cycle of the cracking failure mode of quay crane by the actual operation data.In the end,aiming at minimizingthe unit preventive maintenance costs in an update cycle,by the constrains of the integrity rate of equipment,the paper establishes a model to study and analyze themaintenance cycle of preventive maintenance,and use MATLAB software tomakea numerical validation.Finally,the content of this dissertation is summarized and the problems existing and the further work need to do are mentioned.What’s more,the RCM theory applied tomain equipment of Tianjin Port Container Terminal maintenance management is prospected.
