| The development of city associates with various security issues.High frequency of natural disasters and man-made accidents causes great loss of life and property.“Catastrophic Globalization”enlarges the impact scope of disasters especially in the background of globalization,bringing more serious challenges for urban disaster prevention and control.Emergency evacuation is an important section of urban disaster prevention and control.There are multitudinous potential safety hazards and dense population in residential area,which pulling down the ability of replying to sudden and unexpected accidents.Therefore,residential area becomes heavy difficult target in organizing effective evacuation.The proposal of“residential block”a while ago extended the fields of residential disaster prevention and control.In this essay,the evacuation behavior would be simulated through Building EXODUS to study the evacuation ability of residential block as well as the optimization methods of urban residential space considering of block system would be discussed from the angle of evacuation safety.This essay abandons the traditional research field in building and applies the software to analyze the evacuation progress outside in the architecture exterior space and environment,innovating the quantitative analysis method for evacuation problem of district-level.This essay is divided into five main parts.First part of the essay is an introduction,which illustrates the background and domestic and overseas advance,constructing the structure of the essay.The second part starts from analyzing residential evacuation background,including the disaster risks,shelters,escape routes and influential factors.Qualitative knowledge is obtained through this part.The third part arranges the different factors of basic spatial layout as well as the construction requirements of our country.The forth part explains the application method of Building EXODUS in the essay and discusses the influencing mechanism of spatial elements.The last part takes an existing residential community as example and proposes the conception of reform.The change of evacuation ability is presented though simulation.Disaster risks could be prevented,reduced and even removed through adapting spatial layout.“Open block” is a new exploration in development and construction of modern city.This essay discusses the plan problems of residential area using simulation software,embodying significant meanings for promotion of residential block and urban security construction. |
