Chillers are the core components and taking main energy consumption of air conditioning systems.It has positive meanings to research on chillers' application in Tianjin office buildings for the missions of building energy conservation.According to the office-building survey,combining with the relevant national and local regulations,models have been setup for typical office buildings and the air conditioning systems.On the basis of analysis on models' cool load,those have been worked out for the weight coefficients of IPLV formulation and the coresponding cooling water inlet temperature.Then it has been put forward that the chillers seletion scheme and the correspongding control stragegy,the main conclusions are as follows:1)The influence by building parameters is showed by superior to inferior on cool load of office buildings as following: occupant density> WWR> shading coefficient> other internal loads> over heat transfer coefficient of building envelop.2)Office building's cooling load values are mainly concentrated on the 50%~80% of the peak load during the whole refrigeration season,and significantly concentrated on the 60%~70% of the peak load.3)It is less effected on the cool load rate distribution when changing the heat transfer coefficient of building envelop,shading coefficient,internal loads,while it would cause major effection on building cool load by the parameters above.4)Work out the weight coefficients of IPLV formula by "Ton-hours" method and recaculate the cooling water inlet temperature which evaluated the chiller performance working in office buildings in Tianjin.5)In an actual project,centrifuge's COP turns to Para-curve with the part load ratio increased,while screw's COP increased with the part load ratio increased.The centrifuge's COP is higher than the screw's when the two types chillers which have same rated capacity operating at over 40% of peak load,and it turns to adverse conclution when operating under 40% of peak load.6)Tianjin office building chillers selection principle: when utility of screw machine parallel centrifuge as building cold source,the 60%~70% of building peak load should be taken consideration as the rated output load of the centrifuge,the remaining part is rated output load of the screw machine;when utility of two parallel screw machines as building's cold source program,cooling load distribution would not play a leading role,and the key point turns to be the COP value of the screw machine.
