Research On River Health Assessment Method Based On Coordinated Development Degree

With the development of social economy,the development and utilization of human activities have led to the degradation of river ecosystem,scholars on watershed natural attribute and social attributes also experienced the three stages of a single,diversification and harmonious coexistence.River health assessment as an technical means,the original river health assessment which contains only natural attributes has been unable to meet the needs of river management.On the basis of summarizing the connotation of river health,index system and evaluation method,this paper establishes the coordinated development degree model to study the health and harmonious development of the natural and social attributes.The main contents and results of this paper are as follows:(1)River health evaluation index from credible journals which include water resources,water quality,physical structure,biological and social service functions was analyzed statistically.And according to the name of index,the membership relation,the significance and the calculation method of the index,the primary index of the health evaluation of the river was obtained.Then the key index from the primary index was selected by using frequency statistics.According to the basic attributes and external attributes of river,the key index of river health assessment are divided into common index and individual index.Finaly,a complete system for river health assessment which includes ecological integrity and social service function is established.(2)On the basis of summing up the Scientific Outlook of the major river basin,it was found that the coordinated development of the ecological environment and social service function is the goal of the basin planning and management in the future.Based on the basic framework of the index system,the coordinated development model was introduced into the river health assessment,replaced the development index with the river health index,and finaly construct the coordinated development evaluation model of river system.(3)According to the 2011 and 2015 data of hydrology and water resources,physical structure,water quality,biological and social service function of the Luanhe River,established the Luanhe river health assessment index system,and adopted the model of coordinated development degree to evaluate the coordinated development of the Luanhe river.The results show that Luanhe River was in a state of sub health and in the moderate coordinated development class,the development of the surrounding social service function has gone beyond its ecological carrying capacity,the Luanhe River management should put the ecological restoration as the main when improving the development of ecological integrity and social service function.
