The open space of the urban that can adjust wind environment and thermal environment,has the good microclimate effects.Improving surrounding district microclimate through open space is a hot topic in the academic circle in recent years.In the hot and humid area of our country,residents live in humid and hot environment for a long time.Especially,the micro-climate environment of mid-rise residential neighborhood with dense population and large building density needs to be improved.Using numerical simulation method,this paper takes Nanjing as an example of hot and humid area,and discusses the optimal configuration of open space in mid-rise residential neighborhood based on microclimate effect.This paper could divide mid-rise residential neighborhood in Nanjing into old mid-rise residential neighborhood and new mid-rise residential neighborhood taking 2007,Implementation details of Nanjing city planning regulations,as the cut-off point and respectively set up the standard models.Based on the literature reading,summarizes the factors affecting the layout of the open space with open space size,location,dispersion,and the relationship between the wind.Combination of two kinds of mid-rise residential neighborhood set up a series of standard model.ENVI-met,the microclimate simulation software is used to calculate the microclimate conditions of each case in typical meteorological day.The microclimate characteristics of each case are comprehensively expressed with the single meteorological parameters of air temperature,wind speed and outdoor thermal comfort PMV.Research shows:The size,location,dispersion,and wind relationship of open space are mainly concentrated in the daytime.The specific relationship as follows:In the old mid-rise residential neighborhood,when a single open space is located in the center of a residential neighborhood,the improvement of thermal environment and thermal comfort is the largest,and average wind speed decreases most.Multiple open spaces were evenly distributed in the residential neighborhood,with the greatest improvement in thermal environment and thermal comfort,and the average wind speed is also reduced.In the newly built mid-rise residential neighborhood,the relation between the scale of individual open space and the cooling degree of residential area is weak.it is directly proportional to the wind environment optimization of residential neighborhoods;it is inversely proportional to the thermal comfort of the residential neighborhoods.Under the condition of multiple open space distributed layout,the low temperature area of residential neighborhoods expands with the increase of dispersion degree;the overall wind speed of the residential neighborhoods increased;the thermal comfort zone of residential neighborhoods expands.The larger the air outlet in residential neighborhoods,the thermal comfort of residential neighborhoods is poor.In the newly built mid-rise residential neighborhood,the micro-climate effect of the residential neighborhoods is the best when the open space is parallel to the summer wind direction.When the open space is in a certain angle with the summer wind direction,the smaller the angle,the better the microclimate effect of the residential neighborhoods.
