The SR20 is a composites material aircraft made by the Cirrus.The SR20's baggage panel is a common composite sandwich structure.which can be easily damaged by heavy weight.SR20's maintenance manual lacks of concrete maintenance plan for structural damage,the damage of maintenance more belong to "beyond SRM".In accordance with the maintenance of "beyond SRM",there is still a lot of room for improvement in the airworthiness verification of self-designed maintenance plan in the United States and Europe.Based on the above problems,this paper has researched on maintenance and airworthiness verification of the SR20 aircraft baggage panel,with attention on step maintenance parameters: "surface treatment"-"lap width"-"additional layers".According to the theory of interface combination,"surface treatment process" is an important factor affecting the repair of bonding repair.In order to design the "Surface treatment" parameters of maintenance,refer to SMM manual,the three kinds of manual polishing abrasive paper mesh is 80 mesh,120 mesh,120 mesh,analyzes were combined with the peel ply surface.The micro information of surface micro-structure,surface free energy,surface active functional group and chemical bond of GFRP surface under different process were obtained by micro test.Then the characterization results are compared and optimized,and the results show that the 120 mesh is the optimized "surface treatment process"."Lap width" and "additional layers" is main of the maintenance geometric parameters,in order to design parameters of maintenance,"Lap width" in 0.5 or 0.25,the " additional layer" in 1 or 0,according to the combination of the two maintenance parameters,based on analysis/calculation(MC2),combined with " building block " step by step to prove,select the finite element calculation and analysis,calculated the mechanical performance.The calculation results are compared and analyzed,and the results show that the optimized maintenance parameters of "lap width" was 0.5 in and "additional layer" was 1 layer.In order to verify the the parameters,the paper based on the laboratory test(MC4)method,combined with the "building block" step by step,tested the mechanical properties of "sample level"-"component level".By analyzing the strength recovery rate of the repaired parts,the set of maintenance parameters of 120 mesh-0.5 in-1 layer was confirmed,and a set of optimized maintenance plan was formed,namely the airworthiness verification process of the maintenance plan.
