The aviation industry is developing rapidly in our state.Airworthiness work is an important means to ensure the performance of aircraft and the threshold for aircraft entering the market.With the development of computer aided technology,the finite element numerical analysis method based on CAE has become an important method of aircraft performance analysis.But its application in airworthiness is premature.The airworthiness certification based on analysis can greatly reduce the economic cost and time cost,so it is of great significance to introduce the finite element numerical analysis method into aircraft airworthiness.The application of finite element method in airworthiness verification is studied in this paper.The main research content is as follows: 1.The airworthiness regulations and airworthiness verification methods are studied.Terms suitable for the airworthiness verification using the finite element numerical simulation method are combed out which includes structural stress strain,fatigue damage tolerance,aerodynamic performance,smoke diffusion,icing protection,temperature rise and fire protection,etc.2.Technical requirements of the finite element method for use in the verification of airworthiness compliance are presented which include analysis process,finite element modeling technology,software reliability,analytical team and personal technical qualifications.They can ensure the reliability and credibility of the finite element analysis method.3.The application process of finite element numerical simulation method in airworthiness verification are completed which mainly includes the combing of airworthiness terms and the study of regulatory requirements,the study of relevant basic theory,the building of geometry and numerical model in finite element analysis,the research on related simulation condition,the airworthiness compliance analysis of simulation results,etc.4.Take an example of airworthiness certification of a helicopter fitted with a radar pod and carry out the simulation analysis of static structure strength,gust load and fatigue evaluation of airworthiness compliance based on finite element analysis platform ANSYS which is used the most widely in engineering field.
