According to the development requirement of destroying element in active defense system,this paper carries out the development state of linear shaped charged,then assessing the feature of major threat of the weapon against tank and armored vehicle.The characteristic that refers to high velocity,large mass and large contact area makes LEFP as the destroying element of active defense system,the research has been proceeded as follow:(1)The types of destroy element in different foreign active defense system has been summarizing and the characteristic among the fragment,shaped charge jet,V shaped charged linear and LEFP has been analyzed and contrasted,this chapter focus on the advantage of LEFP and analyze the feasibility of it as the anti-missile destroying element.(2)The simulation result of LEFP intercepting still has been contrasted with the dynamic simulation result that LEFP intercepting different velocity armor-piercing projectile.The result of damaged and complete armor-piercing projectile penetrating 45#steel target is the major parameter to be considered.(3)By the simulation model of LEFP impacting on charge directly and with different material and thickness of the shell,it turned out to be the initiating way of LEFP impacting on charge is striking initiating model,the pressure of observation point within charge exceed the C-J detonation pressure of Comp-B,it validated the feasibility of LEFP as the destroying element of anti shaped charge warhead.(4)The test use endpoint initiation to form the LEFP intercepting and striking the charge with 82mm shell caliber,the structural failure process of warhead is observed by high-speed camera.The pressure of charge by center line initiation is 1.17 times higher than that by endpoint initiation.Using LS-DYNA software,the numerical simulation model of LEFP impacting the charge with shell is founded.Analyzing the result of the formation of LEFP and different blasting height and initiation ways,it shows the charge with shell is initiated.Finally,the results of experiment and simulation shows that LEFP has the feasibility as the destroying element of the armored vehicle active defensive system and other air defense missile technology.
