The power communication network transmits all kinds of services that guarantee the security,operation,and management of the power system.The safe and stable operation of the power communication network relates directly to that of the power system.Due to the rapid development of the Smart Grid,operation mode and the network structure of the power grid are more and more complicated,so that the communication network requires the higher reliability and security.As an important part of reliability assessment,risk assessment is to assess potential threats,which may cause accidents,and formulate corresponding risk strategies to reduce the possibility and negative impact of the accidents.Then researchers pay more attention to the risk assessment and optimization analysis of the power communication network.Most current researchers analyze the network risk just from one single point of view,and the evaluation index is quite simple.Therefore,the research on risk assessment of power communication network from multiple angles is of great significance to the stable operation of the entire power grid.This paper analyzes the current research achievements and absorbs the experience of risk assessment and path optimization methods of power communication network at home and abroad.Combining the characteristics of network structure and operation statement of power communication network,this paper sets the power communication transmission network as the research point and evaluation object.And then under two different operation status of the power communication network:normal status and fault status.This paper carries out the work of risk assessment and path optimization to assist designers using different power communication strategies under different operation conditions.Therefore,firstly,under normal operation for transmission network,this paper analyzes the possible causes of link or equipment failure,quantifies the probability of occurrence of failure and builds node risk model and link risk model.According to the characteristics of service transmission path,three service risk models are established under different situations:service risk equals the summation of,accumulation of or maximum among all elements' risk.In order to reduce the service risk,corresponding single service path optimization methods(SOM,MUOM,MAOM)are proposed.Simulation results show that the three optimization methods can effectively decrease the service risk which is rather larger.And MAOM can reduce the network risk better.Secondly,when the transmission link is broken or the network is under fault status,this paper quantifies the impact of link interruption on the network structure and service operation.And then the link interruption risk model is established.This paper also proposes a service re-optimization method for the affected services to reduce the impact of link interruption.Simulation results show that the time delay of the re-optimized service routes is in the acceptable range and the service balance is significantly reduced,which decrease the impact of link disruption.In summary,risk assessment results of power communication transmission network proposed in this paper can provide effective analysis basis for operation and maintenance personnel,which can help to find out the weakness of power communication transmission network.And the path optimization method can be the theoretical reference of the service channel arrangement,so as to avoid incidents of the power communication transmission network and ensure the stable operation.
