| This graduation design project is a practice of rural construction.The site is the Courtyard No.19 in Xujiayuan Village,Jiangning District,Nanjing.Xujiayuan Village is the first experimental rural village in Jiangsu Province.Courtyard No.19 was originally a family home(having no residence now)and is now being converted into a homestay.Design using local traditional materials,through low-tech and low-cost construction and learning from the Chinese garden to improve the built environment,providing comfortable and unique bed and breakfast experience,so that the old building could be rejuvenated.The design focuses on regionality,analyzes and studies the geographical and humanistic environment of Xujiayuan Village,taking into account the settlement texture,building materials,and formal languages surrounding the village,and makes the transformed building and the village environment harmonized.In addition,interior design emphasizes the improvement of comfort,so that the old buildings meet the needs of modern people.This paper includes the design process,project research and design results.The content and structure of this paper are as follows:The first chapter is the introduction.It introduces the origin of the topic,the purpose and significance of the design,and the content and method of the project.The second chapter is the background of the project.It introduces the location of the project,the introduction of Xujiayuan Village,the situation before the site reconstruction,the orientation of the project and the design concept.The third chapter is about the design research.It mainly analyzes and studies the case of the old house reformed bed and breakfast,analyzes and summarizes the brick building method,conducts on-the-spot research on the Suzhou classical garden,and conducts research on the art garden.The fourth chapter is about the design process.It introduces the scheme from four aspects:program generation,design content,construction practice,and construction process.The design content is divided into four parts:site relationship,functional space,suitability technology,and garden space.Finally,lessons learned.The fifth chapter is the design results,including performance charts,technical drawings and exhibition board drawings. |
