With the continuous development of China's economy and foreign trade,the container throughput of China coastal ports also increasing and higher requirements are placed on the container ships service capacity in the port.Constrained by the scarcity of existing shoreline resources,it is increasingly important to improve the service capacity of container ships under the existing container port conditions.The use of new processes to improve work processes and improve efficiency has become the first choice for all ports in this situation and the Double-Cycle Operation within a Bay is gradually applied to achieve the goal of improving efficiency,reducing costs,and improving service capabilities and will be further promoted and applied in the future.At present,the researches number of Double-Cycle Operation within a Bay is lack and some of them have a certain gap with the actual situation.Therefore this paper focuses on the blocks distribution of container yard and the number of the trucks equipment based on the field investigation and establishes a simulation model to study it through the Flex Term simulation software.This paper first briefly summarized the research significance and the current research status in related fields,introduced the relevant fields academic achievements of domestic and foreign scholars in recent years and briefly discussed the research content,technical route and innovation points of this paper,introduced the core content,research logic and academic value of the paper.Next part summarized the relevant theoretical knowledge and major research issues of container ports which lay the foundation for the study of this paper.Then the third chapter discussed the main problem in this paper and established an optimization model for the distribution of blocks which establishes a solid foundation for the subsequent content.The fourth chapter used Flex Term software to simulate and analyze the different dispersion and the number of equip trucks,obtained the state data of the crane,gantry crane and trucks of each solution,combine the equipments cost that obtained through the investigation analyze to select the most suitable dispersion and equip trucks number under Double-Cycle Operation within a bay conditions.The main content of the fifth chapter is the simulation of the actual case to verify the feasibility and efficiency of the previous selection model compared with the traditional loading and unloading operation method.The final part included the summary of the research contents and conclusions of this paper,the prospects for future research and the deficiencies in the study.It also forecasted the further research directions.There is a blocks distribution and trucks equipment scheme was obtained through the research of this paper that hold the balance between the operation time and cost under the Double-cycle operation within a bay,and provided reference for the subsequent port terminals blocks distribution and trucks equipment scheme to adopt the Double-cycle operation within a bay handling technology.
