The marshalling station is an important part of the railway transportation system.As a distribution center for a large number of freight trains,the marshalling station is responsible for the disintegration and marshalling of many freight trains.It is the place of origin,destination,transition of most freight trains.The marshalling station has a large number of technical equipment.Among them,the shunting lines,as the main place of wagon classification and assembly,has a very important role in the organization of working in the marshalling station.The optimization of the application of the shunting lines is also an important aspect of the marshalling station organization.It is a common concern of scholars in related fields that how to arrange the usage of the shunting lines under reasonable conditions and ensure the efficiency of the work organization of the marshalling station.Based on the existing research,the thesis analyzed and studied the optimization of the shunting lines according to the factors which affects the usage of shunting lines.The main work is as follows:1.The thesis collected and summed up a large amount of relevant information and literature.Summarized the practical problems solved by previous research results.On the basis,the thesis discussed the necessity and practical significance of the research.2.The thesis described the basic characteristics of marshalling station's shunting lines,pointed out the current basic principles and methods for the use of shunting lines and the main problem.The thesis analyzed the main influencing factors of the application program of the shunting lines,clearly defined the impaction of the shunting lines' usage of the factors,such as the station map,wagon flow,plan for the formation of freight trains,cargo vehicles and related equipment,and so on.Afterwards the thesis analyzed the efficiency of marshalling station work organization,and pointed out the impact of the use of the shunting lines on the work organization of the marshalling station,which focus on parallel routes and hostile approached,shunting workloads,and the balance use of equipment,etc.these indicators are used to judge the results of shunting lines.3.The thesis described the traditional method of determining the use of shunting lines.By analyzing the characteristics of each method and summing up the work of predecessors,the thesis designed the optimization of shunting lines,with a phased approach.Firstly,the paper analyzed the marshalling station's special shunt lines and traffic wagon flow.Analyzed the vehicles which cannot slip,cannot pass the hump,need to be fixed and the freights which destination is this station.Determined the type of empty cargo which is divided into C,N,G,P.Defined this type freight cargo which cannot be changed.Second,for the most variable traffic group,the traffic flow was divided firstly by the up-down station,the thesis determined the number of shunting lines considering the direction of line convergence.Finally,for the shunting lines of the same convergence direction,according to the minimum amount of the shunting works and balanced use of shunting lines,an optimization model for the use of coach lines was established with the constraints of the use of coach lines.4.The original planning problem is a multi-objective planning problem,which is transformed into a single-objective planning problem through the constraint method.According to the characteristics of the model,an optimization algorithm for shunting lines based on genetic algorithm is constructed.5.Take Kunming East Marshalling Station as an example.By using MATLAB software,The case shows that the model algorithm has obtained good results,and provides a certain theoretical basis for the future determination of the fixed usage plan of the shunting lines in the marshalling station.6.The thesis summed up and summarized the main research contents and achievements and pointed out that the optimization of the use of shunting lines which should be further studied in the future.
