Urban rail transit is not only the important infrastructure facility for people going out,but also a kind of livelihood projects with typical character of commonweal.While,it plays a more and more important role in city’s passenger transport system.Though urban rail transit brings so much benefit for people,it has tremendous security hidden danger because of its strong profession and technique,diverse technology and hardware equipment.If the security hidden danger can’t be controlled effectively,it will make huge threaten in city,influence the society’ stability and harmony.Therefore,to research urban rail transit operation safety management,is not only find its breakthrough point and raise the safety management level.But also it drives urban rail transit tool upgrading in planning and design,construction and operation system,which will increase safety management coefficient and guarantee operation safety.This article is based on the background that subway is the main performance form of urban rail transit tool.Main research results this article obtained are as follows.First,briefly introduce and review history of urban rail transit,future development trend of it at home and abroad,safety operation modes and experience in advanced subway in the world.Second,based on researching subway,combined with the special geography conditions and actual society of Chongqing,the article deeply analyses risk point which threaten subway safety from four aspects including man,equipment,environment,management.And it discusses reinforcing subway operation safety management system and putting forward constructive suggestions.Third,the article points out the main problem in Chongqing subway at present,proposes corresponding countermeasures by analyzing safety operation of Chongqing subway.Meanwhile,it supplies experiences of subway safety operation in the city which climate is like Chongqing.As a conclusion,operation safety must be putted for primary location when developing urban rail transit.Reduce safety danger to the lowest from technical means to operation management through implementing the management system and strengthening standard science operation.Guarantee no mistakes in safety management so that urban rail transit that is the largest public infrastructure has a bigger effect in city’s development.
