The grid structure of Roof has been widely applied in civil and industrial buildings, belong to the category of steel structure, and it is an important landmark building in departments of metallurgy, electric power, chemical industry and so on.And it is an objects,which today's scholars devote a lot of manpower and research on. Due to the unreasonable design and construction, structural changes caused by load changes, climate condition, the influence of factors such as environmental erosion, as the growth of the service time of the spatial grid structure, the safety and reliability of the structure has gradually become a common concern. Therefore, it is necessary for aspects of space grid structure reinforcement and reconstruction for further research.This paper analysis the characteristics and types of long-span space truss structure, and discusses the domestic and foreign scholars on the research status in Anshan a gymnasium grid reinforcement and reconstruction as an example, mainly by mechanical properties, design and construction of spatial truss structure are analyzed, the project uses a change bar reinforcement method, in the reinforcement of the choice of the section in the process the practical calculation method is put forward, to avoid the iterative process. Through MSTCAD software on the structure of the various load combinations were effective analysis, found the most unfavorable combination of structure by way of analyzing the structure before and after reinforcement used the software of MSTCAD, getting the conclusion that highly symmetrical space grid structure, increase the cross section of the strengthening methods had a little effects on the natural frequencies and formations. In the third chapter of the paper, the finite element analysis of the reinforced structure is carried out by using ABAQUS software. The effectiveness of the method is proved, and the rationality of the calculation method is also proved.Because of the complexity and correlation of space truss structures, it is necessary to deploy strictly in the construction process of strengthening the space truss structure, so as to ensure the safety and reliability of the structure and personnel. Therefore, in the fourth chapter proposed change bar reinforcement construction scheme of rationalization proposals, the main exchange rod in the process of construction sequence and construction features and interior and exterior scaffolding erection are introduced in detail, of similar spatial truss structure reinforcement transformation of the construction have great reference value.
