The CNC propeller measuring machine is a device for measuring the propeller blade parameters automatically.Its performance will affect the propeller manufacturing process.During the measurement process,the precision and efficiency are limited by the accuracy,smooth operation and reliable data acquisition of the measuring machine.Therefore,a CNC large-scale propeller measuring machine controller software is developed to improve the performance on the above aspects of the measuring machine.The main contents are as follows.Based on the traditional CNC software structure,sub-module developing scheme is proposed for the propeller measuring machine.Then,the key technologies are elaborated.According to the measurement demands,the modules are modularization developed,including error compensation,measurement and data acquisition,axis synergic movement.Considering the non-linear balancing weight motion and the measuring arm,a geometric error compensating method is proposed to guarantee the accuracy of automatic measurement.The data acquisition path is planned for laser double head.In the operation interface,the propeller blades are simulated and the motion control are conducted.Then,the data interactive communication protocol is expounded.To eliminate unstable measuring caused by turntable vibration,an axis synergic movement method based on turntable deceleration is presented to achieve smooth operation and measuring.A test platform is built for the large-propeller CNC measuring machine control system.According to the designed test procedure,function test is performed to demonstrate the validity and reliability of the developed software.Finally,the practicality of the controller software designed is validated in practical industrial applications.
