The pipe belt conveyor is a main equipment of continuous transport of bulk materials,which is widely used in port,metallurgy,mine and other fields.Its main parts include conveyor belt,driving motor,driving pulley and so on.However,the conveyor belt of pipe belt conveyor is used to bear and transport material,it has obvious viscoelastic characteristics.Belt speed,acceleration and tension of conveyor belts are dynamically changing with time,which is obvious in the unstable working conditions such as the starting and stopping of pipe belt conveyor.The viscoelastic characteristics of conveyor belt and the control mechanism of driving system are discussed in this paper,and the system model of pipe belt conveyor is established in the condition of head and tail double-drive large-angle.The starting characteristics of conveyor are analyzed by simulation and field test.The specific content of this paper are as follows:(1)The force analysis of belt conveyors unit is carried out based on Kelvin model,and then the mechanical equations of belt conveyors are derived.Pipe belt conveyor designed by Tidfore Heavy Equipment Group is taken as the study object,Discrete model and mathematical model of conveyor are established.The quality,main resistance and elastic modulus of the belt conveyors unit are calculated.Discrete simulation model of pipe belt conveyor is established in the AMEsim environment.The variation law of parameters such as belt speed,tension and load in the conveyor system can be analyzed by the model,so as to provide reference for the design and structural optimization of pipe conveyor system.(2)The simulation model of drive system for three-phase asynchronous motor is established based on the principle of DTC,and the principle of power balance control of double motors drive system is analyzed.The double-motor drive system of pipe belt conveyor is established by the master-slave control method,this method is speed-given for the master motor and following torque-given for the slave motor.And the simulation model of the drive system is established in the environment of AMEsim and Matlab-Simulink.The variation law of motor torque,pulley load and belt tension is analyzed by simulation test during the start of conveyor.The results show that double-motors drive system can realize the power balance control,load balancing and belt speed synchronization of master and slave motor.(3)The speed and load commissioning test are carried out by giving different speeds and loads to the driving motor,and the speed control and loading performance of drivingmotor are verified.Head and tail double-drive large-angle pipe belt conveyor system is taken as the test object,the power test of driving motor is carried out on no-load and full load start-up conditions,and the test results are analyzed.The results show that the output power curve of master and slave motor from start to stationary operation basically tend to converge under the condition of no-load and full-load.These characteristics show that the master-slave control strategy adopted in this paper can realize power balance control of master and slave motor for pipe belt conveyor.
