In recent years,with the rapid development of science and technology,many obvious progresses have been made in computer technology and sensor technology.This also promotes the development of engineering survey from simple to complex,low precision to high precision,manual operation to survey integration and automation,periodic survey to continuous survey,spot survey to remote control.The intelligent measurement robot is a typical instrument that fully reflects the development trend of modern engineering survey.Combined with a series of flexible development tools provided by Leica,it gives full play to the automatic measurement potential of measurement robots.In order to improve the efficiency of lofting survey and reflect the structural change of deformable bodies in time,the author studied the Leica TS60 measurement robot development technology according to the actual needs of modern engineering survey and developed related applications.The main contents of study are as follows:Firstly,measurement accuracy and main features of the Leica TS60 measurement robot are introduced.With the study of protocol modes,functions and ASCII line communication protocols of Leica measurement robots GeoCOM serial communication interface,the author mastered the basic development method of measurement robot applications.Secondly,the author designed and developed the automatic lofting survey system which is suitable for engineering construction.The system realized the functions such as setting station with various modes,automatic measurement of lofting points,real-time adjustment calculation of lofting points,automatic storage of qualified lofting data and etc.The results of the comparative test shown that the lofting software developed in this paper runs reliably and the calculation results are correct.Thus,it is reasonable to do lofting survey using portable PDA control system when multiple survey stations are needed,which also improves the efficiency of lofting survey and reduce the occurrence of errors effectively.Thirdly,the author deduced the principle of differential data processing in detail,and tested its practical accuracy.The test results shown that with the differential data processing technology,less number of temperature and pressure sensors are needed,and the efficiency and accuracy of automatic deformation monitoring would be improved.Also,the author designed and developed a remote unattended automatic deformation monitoring system,which adopted wireless data transmission module and GSM module to enable remote data communication and short massage warning.The system realized the functions of measurement robot remote on-line control,continuous multi-period automatic measurement and data processing,deformation information display,overrun automatic warning and etc.With a 36-hour deformation monitoring application project of an oversize suspension bridge's main tower,it shows that the automatic deformation monitoring system developed in this paper could meet the requirements of real-time,continuous,automatic,reliable and stable development of modern engineering deformation monitoring.So,it has a good application prospect.
