Research On Curve Negotiation Of Tilting Emu Based On SIMPACK And Simulink Co-simulation | Posted on:2019-06-18 | Degree:Master | Type:Thesis | Country:China | Candidate:X Q Hu | Full Text:PDF | GTID:2322330566462803 | Subject:Vehicle Engineering | Abstract/Summary: | PDF Full Text Request | The speed of trains has been increased by six times and the high-speed EMUs have been carried out since the railway developed so far in China,the speed of the trains has been greatly improved.Although more than 25000 kilometers of high-speed railways have been built in China,there are still over 102000 kilometers of existing railways.Especially in western China,there are many small radius curves in mountainous railways,which limit the speed of trains.According to the foreign application experience,the tilting train can significantly improve the curve negotiation speed of trains without decreasing the ride comfort.The new technology of tilting trains has been continuously developed and applied to new trains abroad.Researches on tilting trains have been carried out in China since the 1990 s.Although they haven’t been applied in China for various reasons,domestic researches on tilting trains have never stopped.The wheel-rail contact relationship is highly nonlinear and the force state of the wheel-rail is rather complicated.When tilting trains negotiate curving railways at a high speed,the action of tilting mechanisms causes the vehicle to tilt inwards during curving,which aggravates the force of the wheel-rail and may affect the dynamic performance of trains and ride comfort of passengers.Therefore,the influences of tilting on the curve negotiation performance of tilting trains will be researched with co-simulation method in this thesis.Firstly,the principle of speed increase of tilting trains is introduced in this thesis.A code to describe the trajectory of the tilting mechanism is programmed with MATLAB to obtain the approximate linear relationship between the displacement of the tilting actuator and the tilting angle of the vehicle.Then,the design of actuator is carried out according to the performance requirements of the tilting mechanism;the performance of tilting actuator is analyzed by Simulink;a dynamic model of the tilting vehicle is built with SIMPACK.Finally,a coupling model of tilting mechanism and vehicle dynamics is established by means of SIMPACK/Simulink co-simulation.The influences of tilting on the curve negotiation dynamic performance of the tilting vehicle are analyzed based on the co-simulation model.And the effects of the fault of the tilting mechanism on the curve negotiation dynamic performance of tilting vehicles are analyzed,which will provide references for fault detection in the future.The study shows that the tilting train can improve the speed of the train negotiates curves along the railways while ensuring the ride comfort,and the dynamic performance meets the requirements;the tilting angular velocity has little influence on the dynamic performance of tilting vehicle,and still has good ride comfort;the failure of tilting mechanism has little effect on dynamic parameters,but it has a great impact on ride comfort and needs to be dealt with in time when a failure occurs. | Keywords/Search Tags: | tilting train, tilting mechanism, dynamics, co-simulation, curve negotiation, ride comfort | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
