Increasing the speed of train is the stratagem of railway development in our country. Four times increasing speed has been done since 1997 on three main lines in the large and have a good result. In the future, the rang of increasing speed will be extending in our country. But large of railways have a low standard in our country. In these railway, the cost of engineering higher speed railway or improving the standard of existing railway is very high and the period of its construction is long because of the limit of the topography. By using tilting trains, train can negotiate at a higher speed without reducing the passenger' s ride quality. This is a good method which allows a significant increase in speed at existing track, improves the railway transport capability, and enhances railway' s competition with other transportation. Tilting trains have been applied successfully in several countries in the world. Right now, China has also begun to develop tilting trains.The higher speed of tilting trains mainly depend on increasing the curving negotiate speed , but which will produce larger centrifugal acceleration, reduce the passenger' s ride quality, enhance the lateral force and make the wear serious between wheel and rail . If the common bogie is used in tilting trains, the wear will be more serious between wheel and rail, the security of the train will be lower. Then in the same time of studying the tilt of car , the bogie which can suit the existing railway must be studied. The main work of this thesis is on studies of bogie of tilting passenger car combining with the scientific item of the CSR.In this thesis, the principle of increasing speed of the tilting passenger car is introduced , the scheme of tilting EMU is put forward , the characteristic of bogie of tilting car abroad are introduced. Based on successful experience of using the tilting car abroad , a bogie that is suitable to tilting car in our country is put forward. The bogie is feasible , in which the primary suspension isflexible, and the tilting mechanism of passenger car is composed of four swing bars and an electromechanical actuator. The scheme design and technology design about, the bogie of tilting car are completed in the thesis. Its structure parameters are determined. The characteristic and function of mainly part of bogie are introduced. Then the kinematics and the force of the tilting mechanism of the tilting passenger car are analyzed, and then the dynamics behaviors of the bogie for tilting car are analyzed. At last, the static intensity of the tilt and the frame which is the most complex component of the bogie is analyzed by ANSYS program. The static intensity requirement would be met and the running security would be ensured when running at high speed.Through the research above, the bogie of high speed tilting passenger car in this thesis have great function in curving railway, and have good stability in straight railway. The bogie can run in the mountain area but also can run in the main railway of the non-mountain area .
