Research And Practice Of Building Functional Layout In Maternal And Child Health-care Hospitals

"Construction Standards of Maternity and Children Health Care Hospital(Station)" was approved in 1992.The new "Construction Standards of Maternity and Children Health Care Service Organization" is still in the approval stage.There are currently new ideas and design directions for the functions and architectural design patterns of the Maternity and Children Health Care Hospital(hereinafter referred to as "the Hospital").With the concept of patient-oriented,and according to the group,the Hospital is divided into four parts of children health care department,women health care department,family planning service department,and maternity health care department in order to highlight the functional design feature of"regarding health care as the center,combining clinical and health care".In this background,there are many more new attempts and project cases for the architectural function layout models of the Hospital.Through the research and practice of the architectural design of maternal and child health care hospital,the author puts forward his own analysis results and design viewpoint from functional orientation to overall functional layout and the specific function design of health care department.This paper is divided into five chapters.The first chapter,as the introduction part,introduces the purpose and background of the topic,the significance of the study problems,the study results on the architectural design theories of the Hospital at home and abroad,the study methods and ethical framework of this paper.The second chapter mainly summarizes the development of the type of the Hospital in foreign countries,the development and reform in China,the production of new functional orientation and medical needs of the Hospital,and its influences to the layout of architectural functions,the influences of the relationship and difference between the Hospital and other medical institutions to the design of architectures.The third chapter makes the analyses and comparison from the building planning and design methods of the Hospital,the ways to judge and analyze the needs of the Hospital,the ways to confirm the size and area,the ways for better construction and site selection of the Hospital,the combination of various functional elements and restrictions on the building planning of the Hospital with different construction sites,the combination forms between building standards and outpatient,medical technology,hospital.The fourth chapter is about the health care department design of the Hospital.The key point of the architectural layout design of the health care department is dealing with the relationship and areas of each different functional departments,while the handling of functional relationship is the understanding of various functional meaning.The different streamlines and partitions are formed from different functional meaning.It is best to analyze the different design methods adopted in different health care areas through practical projects.The fifth chapter is the introduction to the four practice projects of the Hospital designed by the author.The architectural function layout model,different from the general hospital,is formed through the design practice.
