With the development of the times and social economy,the population gradually gathered in urban areas.In recent years,the car ownership has risen sharply.The planning and construction of urban roads have not begun to keep pace with the development and the traffic pressure is getting more and more heavy.The construction of urban expressways,the transformation of main roads,the expansion of trunk roads and trunk roads are all implemented,but the progress is slow and the traffic effect is difficult to maintain into design life.Road capacity,the traffic efficiency of pass through road,and the road level,the scale is not a simple proportional relationship,but it is closely related with traffic conditions.Good traffic conditions can make the road service level to achieve the expected;at the same time reduce traffic flow fluctuations and lower the impact of traffic flow volatility,can greatly improve the service level of the road,and immediate,Also It is the core issue of this study.Traffic flow fluctuation is the propagation phenomenon of different densities of different interface in the car flow.Harm to road traffic is mainly a wave of negative wave concentration wave.The damage degree increases with the absolute value of wave velocity.This paper mainly studies the causes of traffic flow fluctuations and their corresponding characteristics,hazards and countermeasures.The frist step is classify for the hazard of traffic flow,lists the factors and characteristics of influencing the traffic safety and the traffic efficiency of pass through road,Then according to the existing theory for evaluation and qualitative,analyze various causes,study the solve countermeasures,and finally verify the case through the project.Against the various causes of traffic flow fluctuations,then take the measures that are enacted,for example optimizing the management of lanes and intersections,Improve the slow passage and bus stop design,Timely update the signs and marking,reasonable arrangements for pavement construction,and removing visual obstructions.It very effective for reduce traffic safety hazards and improve road capacity,so that the service level of the road significantly improved for road engineering design and traffic management to provide a theoretical basis.
