During the transmission of electric energy,the line loss will increase when the loadcurrent increases.This results in a reduction in voltage after long distance transmission.Voltage reduction will affect the power equipment,and seriously affect the operation safety of power grid.Therefore,in the maintenance of power system,the voltage of each node of the power grid should be monitored in real time.When the deviation of the voltage is found,the adjustment is made in a timely manner.In the past,the work was done by hand.In this way,the reaction speed is slow,the control accuracy is not high,and it also consumes a lot of manpower and material resources.Therefore,it is urgent to design a AVC(Automatic Voltage Control)to meet the requirements of the above work.In this paper,an automatic control system for voltage and reactive power optimization is designed for Dalian power grid.It can realize automatic voltage control and optimize the reactive power control method.It first analyzes the relationship between reactive power balance and voltage variation in power system,and the regulation principle of voltage and reactive power in substation.It makes a detailed investigation on the operation rules of Dalian power grid.On this basis,the overall structure and functional requirements of AVC system in Dalian area are defined.Secondly,it takes the Dalian Development Zone as a pilot,and according to the scheduling model,the basic data of the AVC system construction in the region are investigated and arranged in detail.It includes on load voltage regulating device and reactive power compensation device.On this basis,the control mode of AVC in Dalian power grid is determined.Thirdly,it analyzes and studies the control strategy of AVC system in Dalian power grid,and finds the defects under the control mode.It puts forward the "regional reactive power strategy" and "single station reactive power strategy" to optimize reactive power optimization,and discusses the coupling strategy of each strategy in time and space.Finally,from the security and economic considerations,this paper defines the AVC system alarm blocking and protection locking strategy in Dalian area.It gives the interface for each part to be implemented.Finally,it analyzes the debugging and operation effect of AVC system in Dalian power grid.The operation effect of AVC system in Dalian power grid is emphatically analyzed and compared.Taking the change of Zhai River and Intel as examples,it compares the effect before and after the operation of AVC.Through the calculation of the economic benefits of the automatic voltage control system in Dalian power grid,it can be seen that the system can realize the reactive poweroptimization and automatic control of the regional grid voltage.Its voltage control precision is high,the effect of reactive power optimization is remarkable,and the labor cost is reduced effectively.The economic benefits of tens of millions of yuan can be created every year in Dalian by calculating.
