With the continuous expansion of the scale of the high-speed railway network in China,capacity and quality of the high-speed railway network is constantly improving.However,due to the influence of passengers' travel characteristics on time and space,facilities and equipment conditions of the railway network,organization methods of train operation and other factors,capacity utilization of the network is not balanced,and the utilization efficiency is not good enough.At present,the limited high speed railway resources and the increasing demand of passengers can not be properly matched.Effective and reasonable use of the limited high-speed railway transportation resources to meet more passenger demand as far as possible,collaborative optimization and utilization of high-speed railway capacity and transport capacity to improve train operation efficiency,has a great practical significance for improving the efficiency of the high-speed railway operation.The layout of EMU depot restricts the starting point and terminal point of the train line,meanwhile directly determines the frame of the running distance,space range and train diagram of the high speed railway train,which has a great influence on the efficiency of railway network capacity utilization.This paper analyzes the impact of the layout of EMU depot on the efficiency of high-speed railway network capacity utilization.The specific research contents are as follows:a)An overview of the basic theory on the layout of EMU depot.The connotation of the EMU depot and its layout is expounded first.Then the current situation of the layout of the EMU depot in our country and abroad is introduced.After that,the objectives and principles of the layout of the EMU depot are put forward.At last,the factors that affect the layout of the EMU depot are analyzed in detail so that we can analyze the influence mechanism of the layout of the EMU depot to the efficiency of high-speed railway network capacity utilization.b)First,the connotation of high-speed railway network capacity is expounded from three aspects including the definition of high-speed railway network capacity,the calculation of efficiency of high-speed railway network and the factors affecting the efficiency of high-speed railway network capacity utilization.Then from perspectives of carrying capacity and delivery capacity,the impact of EMU depot layout on the efficiency of high-speed railway network is systematically analyzed,including the impact of EMU depot layout to the station capacity,the impact to the connected section,empty train walk,and the low passenger rate.c)To reduce the capacity waste caused by the layout of the EMU depot,by creating a virtual source and a virtual sink,turn the problem into a multi commodity network flow problem with a single source and a single sink.Aimed at minimize the inherent ability of leisure,the empty train walk and the total train cost,a mathematical model cooperating with the train planning is established.Then Taking a high-speed passenger dedicated network as an example so that a net forming conditions is simulated.Optimizing the layout of the EMU depot and the train operation planning so that we can improve the efficiency of network capability utilization.Compared with the current network capacity utilization efficiency,then we can verify the validity of the model,give some scientific and reasonable suggestions and achieve the goal of scientific and rational allocation of transportation resources.
