It is significant to study the accessibility of the railway passenger hub.It could help the stakeholders satisfy the increasing traffic demand caused by the accelerated urbanization,solving urban traffic issues,achieve the traveler's expectation of terminal convenience as well as improving the level of service of railway passenger terminal.Based on the previous study,the definition of the accessibility of railway passenger hub is a comprehensive utility of economic and time cost which passengers have to pay from the origin to the railway passenger hub by different modes.The indicators of accessibility includes travel distance,transfer pattern,journey time,waiting time,and cost.The willingness to pay is a coefficient that transfer those indicators to economic cost based on the travelers` attitude to different modes.This paper builds a model based on the concepts of willingness-to-pay to,the utility function of generalized cost as well as the accessibility cost to evaluate the accessibility of different modes.The urban per capita GDP is used to normalize the accessibility cost of this model.The stated preference and revealed preference questionnaires are used to collect the data for different indicators from different modes.The origin of the questionnaires is the Tianfu Software Park.The final destinations are Chengdu East Railway Station and North Railway Station.And then,the MNL model is used to build up a mode choice model and a willingness to pay model.The model attribute calibration is based on the collection data.The NLogit software is used to analysis the utility of different factors.Combined with those results,the willingness to pay of accessbility of different mode can be calculated.The next step is to calculate and analysis the accessibility value from the accessibility model.Finally,by using the model results and the level of service,an optimization of the accessibility of the railway passenger hub has been promoted and analyzed.
