Now,railway transportation plays a more and more important role in the operation of the national economy.High speed and heavy load are the two main ways to improve the railway transport capacity.In recent years,the development of China's high-speed EMU has made great progress,but the heavy load railway transport has not kept pace with the economic and social development.The main reason is that the railway line conditions in China can not carry large axle load trucks,and the reconstruction of large scale lines is obviously not economical and efficient,so the development of multi axle bogies is the key to the development of heavy load railway.A new type of 2-wheelset and 4-Load-bearing wheels bogie abbreviated as bearing bogie is designed to solve the problem that the performance of the curve is not high and the wheel rail wear of the middle wheel is serious during the application process of the current multi axle bogie without improving the axle load.The main contents of this paper include the following points:First,the feasibility analysis and calculation of this bogie are carried out,including effective wheel rail contact of the bearing wheel,stress analysis and vehicle load distribution.Second,establish dynamic model,analysis the dynamic performance and make a optimization of the structure and suspension parameters.Third,a new type of 4-axle bogie used in the long and flat car was developed in Qiqihar factory in China.The dynamic model of two kinds of bogies was established,and the difference of the two structures was analyzed,and the dynamic performance was compared.The results of dynamic analysis show that the roll angle during the dynamic.balance can be eliminated when the lateral center distance of the bearing wheel is adjusted to 1520 mm.The tread 160 mm of the bearing wheel can ensure the safe and effective carrying capacity through the 145 m small radius curve.The vehicle equipped with a bearing bogie has excellent performance in motion stability and vehicle stability.It can also meet various safety indexes when the curve passes through a certain speed.Therefore,it can be said that the bearing type bogie is feasible in dynamics.Contrast results show that the bearing bogie are superior to the new 4-axle bogies in motion stability and vehicle stability.In terms of curve negotiation performance and wheel rail wear especially the wear of the steering wheel pair,the new four axle bogie is better performance than the bearing bogie.The fundamental reason is that two traditional wheel sets are replaced by two pairs of bearing wheels in the middle of the bearing bogie,and the steering performance of the whole bogie is weakened,and the bearing wheel has no traditional wheel set movement,so the stability of the bearing bogie is enhanced.Overall,the bogie is still in the conceptual stage,and there is still a long way to go.
