Rice seeding is the most important aspects that ensure rice production,and the seeding operation quality have a significant impact on the output of rice,one of the key affecting factors to the quality of seeding operation is seeding amount.Currently,to achieve the seeding rate of most Rice transplanters, it mainly depends on adjusting gear or reducer. For this way, the adjustment range of sowing rate is relatively small, adjusting difficultly and no suitable for high-speed operation, so it is difficult to guarantee the quality of seeding operation.This article is based on researching farms and individual farmers, searched by a large number of domestic and foreign literature and manual on Rice transplanters, studied and designed one control system about seeding rate of Rice transplanters with which PLC as the core. Through building the follower mode between moving speed of Rice transplanters and stepper motor speed, we can adjust the sowing rate, and get results of precise sowing. The display interface of touch screen which is set by this system, can adjust the number of pulses (the number of magnets)?wheel diameter of transplanters?width of transplanters and parameters of seeding rate on the basis of situation. The HMI can also real-time display beginning and ending time of seeding operations?forward distance of transplanters and sown area etc. In order to realize storage, the data can be downloaded to the U disk in real time.The Rice Seeding Control System is experimented preferentially on the seeding test platform. The first, it demarcates the seeding number of conventional rice varieties (Huai Rice V). Then it has verified seeding amount error of different forward speed in the seed bed. Finally, the uniformity of the various experiments was carried out. In order to prove its stability, the control system is installed in the electrical bench after the experiment.The research is mainly achieved the following research:(1) Completed all of the system design about the Rice Seeding Control System, it mainly consists of speed module and driver module. The core part of the control system is arranged in the control box, so it adds to anti-jamming capability and avoids the effects of various external factors of field operations.(2) We can control all of the system easily by the touch-screen interface, operate succinctly. It has be built one mathematical model about seeding rate?the forward speed of transplanter and the speed of stepper motor, and the model is proved feasibly by this test.(3) The control system has be tested in seedmeter test bed. Target acres of seeding rate is compeled successfully, its maximum error rate is 4.09%(less than 5% is considered a precision sowing). It is not only to be achieved the goal of which precision seeding of conventional rice, and the coefficient of variation about seeding uniformity is up to 13.09% (coefficient of variation less than 40%), which complies with the agricultural production standards.(4) The control system is to be tested by electrical test bench, which has been proven, the system is stable in the torque of 10-25 N·m.In conclusion, the Rice Sowing Control System developed by this topic has been solved the previous issues that adjusting sowing rate only by regulating gear or reducer.The system has realized the precise control of seeding rate, the basic HMI interaction, and excellent system stability. It can be considered to apply to the field operations.
