Maize is one of the three major grain crops in China.At present our country has completed the mechanization of maize basically,but the mechanization of harvest is still very weak.At the same time,the damage and loss which were produced by the mechanization of maize hinder the development of harvesting mechanization.In the maize harvest mechanization the maize culms break problem has increasingly serious impact,many broken stems so that affects the rate of spike and increases the rate of subsequent processing.In order to promote the development of maize harvest mechanization quickly,we need solve the practical problems encountered in the process of maize harvest.In the process of harvesting maize,the break of maize culms is associated to the maize culms height,density,skew,maturity and other natural factors,the more important factors are harvester harvest way and speed and other mechanical factors.During the operation of maize plants,the maize harvester grain smoothness,operation speed and pull stem roller speed on maize culms have a great influence on the performance of the maize culms and the header.If the divider transition is not smooth,this will lead the maize culms were knocked down before they enter the stem area,or maize culms were broken,removable ear was not successful,these all due to the large pull stem roller speed or walk too fast,making maize culms in the process of pull the stem by pulling force is too large after entering the stem zone.This paper uses ADAMS to simulate maize culms and points of the harvester grain and stem rollers,and analyze the contacting force which was given to the maize culms in the stem by the way of the virtual orthogonal experiment,so as to get the main factor that lead to broken maize culms.1.Study the properties of the maize culms,so we can provide the foundation for the structural design of the header theory data.2.Research points and the work principle of removable ear device to provide the theoretical basis for the establishment of the 3 d model.3.Analyze the factor that affects the ability of grain,and there are many factors that affects the performance of removable ear device and the calculation method of each parameter,such as picking spike roller diameter,length,angle and speed work and the speed of machine operation.Preliminary get its value.4.Establish 3D model of the corn harvester by using Pro/E,in order to provide the corresponding parameters of the simulation model which belongs to harvest of maize culms and simulation analysis.5.By means of virtual prototype simulation(MSC.ADAMS)to study maize culms and kinematics and dynamics of the header,analyze the influence on the process of movement of maize culms and grain and pull the stem roller mechanism with relative motion,and get the optimal parameter combination.This paper based on the mechanical properties of corn to analyze the factors include the broken maize culms of corn harvester grain smoothness,operation speed and pull stem roller speed,use Pro/e to corn stalks and points of the harvester grain and stem roll for the virtual design,and use the ADAMS dynamics simulation,in order to solve the maize grain structure design and the header stems getting the theoretical basis for roller performance parameters.
