In recent years, the dairy industry developed rapidly in Shandong province, which has become an important industry in promoting the development of local economic. However, the infection of uterine in postpartum in cows caused major economic losses in the animal breeding industry. This study investigated the incidence of endometritis in cows in ten dairy farms in Shandong province, including the isolation and identification of pathogenic bacteria, genotyping and drug sensitivity test. The survey showed that the incidence of endometritis was negatively correlated with the raising management level in the ten dairy farms. There were three dairy farms in which the incidence of endometritis is lower than 10%, 10%~20% in 5 dairy farms, more than 20% in 2 dairy farms. The prevalence of endometritis accounts for about 35%~55% the incidence of reproductive disturbance diseases. The isolation, culture and stain were conducted to the uterine discharge from the endometritis cows, and the genetypes were identificated with the 16 S rRNA sequencing method. The results showed that there were mainly Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus aureus, Arcanobacterium pyogenes, Proteus and Pseudomonas aeruginosabacteria, and the detection rate of Escherichia coli was the highest one with 0.72±0.15. Higher incidence of endometritis of the cow field, the average colony count was higher. The results of drug sensitivity test showed that the different sensitivity of bacteria to antibiotics: cefuroxime, ceftriaxone, compound sulfamethoxazole and norfloxacin on susceptibility of bacteria isolated in cattle is more sensitivity and can be used as the treatment in the surveyed dairy farms.
