| Woody plants are the main plant material for urban landscape construction. The list and species diversity evaluation of urban woody garden plants have important guiding value for the maintenance and management of urban landscape green space. In this study, thoroughly field survey and typical sample plot observation were carried out, in order to understand fully the species composition of woody landscape plants and the life form spectrum, the source structure and the landscape value type in the garden plants of Karamay. Furthermore, the diversity index was used to study the characteristics of different types of green space and different administrative regions. The main research conclusions are as follows:(1) In term of species composition, there are 31 families,64 generas and 143 species (varieties) of woody plants in Karamay. Among them, there are about 3 families,6 generas and 10 species (varieties) of gymnosperm, about 28 families,58 generas and 133 species (varieties) of angiosperm. Trees have 21 families,34 generas,81 species (varieties); shrubs have 8 families,27 generas and 59 species (varieties); woody vines have 2 families,3 generas and 3 species (varieties). Viewing from the source of species, native wild plants have 23 species (varieties), native cultivated plants have 76 species (varieties), exotic plants have 44 species (varieties). For the type of landscape value, there are 57 species (varieties) of flower plants,40 species (varieties) of foliage plants,57 species (varieties) of fruit plants,9 species (varieties) of ornamental trunks and branches plants, and 37 species (varieties) of ornamental shape plants. To see from the source of species, most of the species types were from local cultivation, while native wild have the minimum proportion.(2) In term of number of sorting, the largest number of families, generas and species of various types of green space is the subsidiary green space, while the least quantity is the production green space. The species composition of the four administrative regions of Karamay is sorted according to the number of families, generas and species, and the maximum is Karamay district. The proportion of trees and shrubs in Karamay urban green space is 1.45:1.(3) Results from the evaluation of species diversity index showed that, for the Simpson index of the tree layer, among 4 types of green space the biggest is the affiliated green space; for the Simpson index of the shrub layer, the biggest is the protection green space. Among the tree layer Shannon-Weiner of 4 types of green space, the biggest is the affiliated green space, while for the shrub layer, the biggest is the park green space. Among 4 types green space, the production green space has the biggest tree layer Pileou evenness index, while the protection green space has the biggest of shrub layer. The rank of the Simpson diversity index and the Shannon-Wiener diversity index of tree layer and shrub layer of the four administrative regions of Karamay is tree layer>shrub layer. In the four administrative regions of Karamay, Dushanzi district has the biggest evenness index of the tree layer, and Urho district has the biggest evenness index of the shrub layer.(4) For landscape value plants in four kinds of green space of Karamay, park green space, production green space, attached green space accounted for the largest proportion of fruit plants, protection green space accounted for the largest proportion of flowering and foliage plants. The types of landscape value plant in Karamay district are much more than that of other administrative regions. |
