Green space is the most important green infrastructure in cities and has attracted the attention of researchers all over the world for its important value in improving ecological environment,optimizing landscape features,maintaining ecosystem function and regional biodiversity conservation and so on.Urban road is the decisive factor in the layout of urban structure and at the same time,the road green space in urban road is an important part of urban green space system.The level of urban plant diversity is the most important factor affecting urban ecology,and is closely related to urban human settlement environment and sustainable development.In this study,the 108 roads in six urban areas of Taiyuan City were taken as the study objects and the characteristics of woody plant diversity in road green space were investigated and analyzed.The SPSS software One-Way ANOVA statistical method is used to analyze the difference of plant diversity index of green belt in different grade roads so as to get the,and significant influence of the road grade on green plant diversity characteristics of Taiyuan city and its regularity.The findings are as follows:(1)In the 108 roads investigated,there were 24 families,33 genera,47 species.Among them,31 species are of Arbor,belonging to 18 families and 21 genera,and 16 species are of shrubs,belonging to 13 families and 15 genera.The sample with higher frequency and more important value were concentrated on a few plants.The dominance of Sophora japonica and Euonymus japonicus is significant,and the application of tree species was single.(2)In the three grades of roads,the multi-layer greening of the main roads is the best,and the single layer greening in the branch roads is up to 81.1%.The degree of dominance of the Sophora japonica and Euonymus japonicus is significant in the roads of all grades,and according to the four index of the average value of Shannon-Weiner,Simpson index average value,Pielou index average value and richness index average value of tree and shrub forms.the order of main road,secondary road and branch road decreased in turn.(3)Among the six urban areas,Xiaodian district has the best condition of multi-layer greening,and the proportion of single-layer greening in Wanbailin district and Xinghualing district is excessive.The dominance of Sophora japonica and Euonymus japonicus in the roads of each district is remarkable.The diversity level of Arbor species in Xinghualing region is the lowest in these six areas,and the significance,evenness and richness level of shrub species in Yingze region is the lowest in these six areas.(4)The results of One-Way ANOVA show that the road width has a significant effect on the width of the green belt.The higher the level of road diversity is,the higher the road diversity level is.
