The Important Bird and Biodiversity Areas(aka. IBAs) are ecological significantly bird habitats which contain more than 10000 spots around the world. It was planned by Birdlife International based on endangered bird species' current situation, distribution and habitat. As international biodiversity priority conservation areas, the conservation effect may reflect the biodiversity conservation level in the area. This research analyzed 512 IBAs in China's Nature Reserve Area by using Arc GIS 9.3 software and doing massive literature reviews. The results suggest that the situation of IBAs conservation in mainland China is optimistic, which beyond global average level. There are 389 IBAs under conservation in total, which accounts for 75.98% of total IBAs in mainland China. 307 of them under complete conservation covered by Nature Reserves of national, provincial or county level. 82 IBAs under partially conservation by Nature Reserves. 84 IBAs are not belonging to any Nature Reserve. 39(16.41%) IBAs are in unknown status. 24 provinces, autonomous regions or municipalities put over 50% IBAs in complete protection. The IBAs conservation status in Henan Prov. is excellent. Meanwhile, conditions in Zhejiang Prov., Jiangsu Prov. and Shanghai City are not very optimistic.Planning ecological redlines has significant meanings which noted in Eighteen Third Plenary Session. It has great impact on district ecological security, socio-economic development, biological resources conservation and ecological function maintenance. Ecological redlines include ecological conservation redlines and ecological function redlines. More specifically, ecological function redlines can be divided to ecological service conservation redlines, ecological fragile area conservation redlines and biodiversity conservation redlines. This paper discussed planning biodiversity conservation redlines for birds by using 7 Pheasants species as examples. This research predict 7 Pheasants species' distribution situation under current climate condition and climate condition in 2050 by using random forest model under CGCM2 model and A2 climate scenario simulator. It compared and contrasted target species' distribution situation in two climate period. Then we draft conservation redline areas which consistence with researching lots of papers, with our national conditions, with consideration of professionals' comments. There are 72 conservation redline areas for Elliot's Pheasant( Syrmaticus ellioti),with total area 25471.71km2. 30 conservation redline areas for Chinese Grouse( Bonasa sewerzowi),with total area 52318.01km2. 29 conservation redline areas for Hume's Pheasant( Syrmaticus humiae),with total area 26953.18km2. 81 conservation redline areas for Cabot's Tragopan( Tragopan caboti),with total area 27310.80km2. 33 conservation redline areas for Lady Amherst's Pheasant( Chrysolophus amherstiae),with total area 52934.85km2. 66 conservation redline areas for Temminck's Tragopan( Tragopan temminckii),with total area 54497.66km2. And 65 conservation redline areas for Golden Pheasant( Chrysolophus pictus),with total area 60411.07km2. The analysis of 7 Pheasants species' conservation redline areas under climate simulation has great guiding value for these species' conservation management. It also has significant implication for other endangered species' conservation redline research.
