Floods, as one of the worst natural disasters in today's global scope, results in a large number of crop losses and huge economic losses every year, which poses a serious threat to food security in China. With the rapid development of all sectors of society, especially the rapid growth of population, the importance of food is getting more and more attention.Along with the global climate change, the frequency of occurrence of floods is increasingly high, and a variety of social and economic losses caused by the floods is growing heavy.Taking Zhaoqing City as the study area, according to flood risk management, the study will carry on the analysis from disaster-inducing factor,, load carrying factor, flood disaster response capacity and crop vulnerability analysis. With the support of GIS and RS technology under systematic analysis, analysis of flood risk assessment maps is produced and crop flood loses is evaluated.The thesis mainly includes the following four parts:(1)Design the rainfall intensity, water classification and terrain classification reference table,and then produce the rainfall intensity classification figure, comprehensive classification figure and water system classification figure, so as the comprehensive flood risk assessment maps. According to the population density and the ultivated density obtained, social vulnerability degree of influence diagram is given.Use the dyke density and vegetation coverage to get force distribution.Finally,from the three aspects a risk assessment model is built, and the flood risk assessment maps in Zhaoqing is improved.(2)Produce flood risk assessment maps in Zhaoqing. According to comprehensive risk analysis, social vulnerability analysis, response force analysis, use the risk assessment model to produce a Flood Disaster and Risk Assessment Fig in Zhaoqing. In addition, figure out the data of the affected crops loss through the evaluation results, and then compared with statistics data respectively.(3)Analyse rice, peanuts, and soybeans vulnerability model, generate the duration at different period and the water loss rate in different submerged depth of the rice, peanut, and soybean. And draw and draw the vulnerability curve of three kinds of crops.(4)Analyse the crop flood loss results from the perspective of zhaoqing city as a whole, local level analysis and risk assessment. Crops in high-risk areas are mainly distributed in the southeast and northwest parts of Zhaoqing, crops in mid-high-risk areas mainly in the eastern and the western parts of Zhaoqing, crops in moderate- risk areas are mainly distributed in the central region of Zhaoqing City, and crops in low risk areas and basically not affected crops are mainly distributed in the mid-western part of Zhaoqing.
