Using Insect sex pheromone, Botanical Attractant,Predators attractant to Pest control and management have the features of Simple, efficient, targeted strong, ecological safety which is also an environmentally friendly measure. This technology is very important for achieving Pests management that is harmless to the public. What the object In this study is three trophic levels of the system: Diaphania angustalis, Apanteles stantoni,Alstonia scholarissugar. We use a gas chromatograph(GC), gas chromatography- mass spectrometry(GC-MS), EAG instrument(EAG), GC- EAG spectrometry(GC-EAD), at the same time use the techniques and methods of laboratory and field trapping to systematically study the function of volatiles of interspecific relationship among Diaphania angustalis, Apanteles stantoni, Alstonia scholarissugar, the source, the main active ingredient, the chemical structure of volatiles. What aiming at finding a suitable Insect sex pheromone, Botanical Attractant,Predators attractant to Pest control, and to provide the experimental basis and theoretical support for the use of insect chemical communication, to achieve green pest prevention and control. The main findings are as follows:1. Biological Characteristics of Diaphania angustalisDiaphania angustalis is one of the important and destructive insect pests attacking Alstonia scholaris in southern of China in recent years.By the observation on reproductive behavior of Diaphania angustalis, then found that Diaphania angustalis' mating courtship and other reproductive behavior is through sex pheromone. At a temperature of 25 ± 1 ?, light-dark cycle L: D = 14: 10, relative humidity RH = 75% to 80%, Diaphania angustalis adult emergence rate reached 85.4%; the peak of the emergence date focused 22: 00-01: 00, accounting for 80.7% of the total amount of feathering; 2 days after emergence, they reach sexual maturity, and have a high mating activity, 3 days later, began to decline, at the same time the sex pheromone of Diaphania angustalis' secretion is also mostly in 2-3 days, and then decreased with the increase of age, Diaphania angustalis' mating peak mainly 7 concentrated in 2-3 days, but as adults age's increases, mating time is extended, the higher-age adults' mating rate decrease. 2. Sex pheromone of Diaphania angustalisUsing GC-EAD, GC-MS, from the female gonad of Diaphania angustalis,We identified two kinds of sex pheromone active ingredient of Diaphania angustalis. These two compounds are the same as the standard E10E12-16:Ald and E10E12-16:OH,they have the same retention time and Characterized ion fragments, so presumably the two active ingredients are E10E12-16: Ald and E10E12-16:OH. Further field tests showed: EAG reaction shows that when E10E12-16:Ald and E10E12-16:OH's ratio is 9: 1, the Potential reaction that adult male antennae generated the largest response,is significantly higher than the mixtures of other proportion. The indoor wind tunnel tests showed the same results as field trapping tests. But only using either E10E12-16:Ald or E10E12-16:OH,we can not catch male adults. In the field trapping tests, if E10E12-16:Ald : E10E12-16:OH = 9 : 1,Male adults' s quantity we catched was significantly higher than other ratios, indicating, the attractant formulations of E10E12-16: Ald: E10E12-16:OH = 9: 1 may be suitable. Field tests showed E10E12-16: Ald and E10E12-16: OH is a key component and the main component of the sex pheromone of Diaphania angustalis. 3.Volatile odor of Alstonia scholarisAlstonia scholaris is also known as the candlestick, basin shelf, because of its majestic tree, upright graceful, rapid growth, and strong anti-air pollution, and it is not only a garden, a street excellent ornamental trees, but also an important medicinal plant. Its leaves have volatile components of general terpenes, aldehydes, hydrocarbons, amides, esters, and phenols. The volatiles of Alstonia scholaris, contains 25 compounds,Terpenes four kinds, 16% of the total content; esters three kinds, the total content of 12%; two kinds of phenols, 8% of the total content; nine kinds of hydrocarbons, 36% of the total content, as well as minor amounts of other types of substances.Wherein,(1R)-(+)-?-pinene(5.219 min), limonene(7.989 min), longifolene(17.166 min) and 2-butyl-1-octanol(22.664 min) can make mating female moths' antenna produce EAG response. Thus, initially identified the three components is the active ingredient of Diaphania angustalis. 4 Apanteles stantoni(Ashmed)Apanteles stantoni is the major parasitoids of Diaphania angustalis.By using gas chromatography-mass spectrometry(GC-MS) for the larvae surface volatiles of Diaphania angustalis, volatiles of the larvae frass, and volatiles of Victim leaves,we got that the volatiles of the larvae frass contains 16 kinds of compounds, the main ingredient is pinene alkenes, alkanes; the larvae surface volatiles of Diaphania angustalis contains 26 kinds of compounds, the main ingredient is pinene alkenes, amides; the volatiles of Victim leaves contains 22 compounds, the main component of amides, esters. A. stantoni had strongest EAG reaction to the larvae surface volatiles of Diaphania angustalis, and had weakest reaction to the volatiles of young plant. In Indoor behavior measurement had the same results, EAG reaction to the larvae surface volatiles of D. angustalis was strongest, reaction to the volatiles of young plant was weakest.
