Callosobruchus chinensis belong to family of Bruchidae, and always damage mung, Vicia faba, pea, lotus seed, etc. especially causing the quality reduction. In this study, volatiles were collected from three varieties mung (Jin Lv No.1, Jin Lv No.7, Vc2768) using dynamic headspace gas sampling and identified by GC-MS, as well as EAG and Y-tube behavioural response were used to test attractiveness of single compounds to Callosobruchus chinensis, The scanning electron microscope (SEM) was used to observe the antennal morphology of Callosobruchus chinensis. The main results are as follow:1. A total of thirty-four compounds were emitted from mung pod of Jin Lv No.1, A total of thirty-five compounds were emitted from mung pod of Jin Lv No.7, A total of thirty-five compounds were emitted from mung pod of Vc2768, including terpenes, aldehyde, alcohols, and so on eight compounds. The relative content of black and green pod volatiles among three varieties were different.2. EAG shown antennae response rose with the increasing of the test sample concentration, the concentration of 1000?g/?L select from highest to lowest of the unmated Callosobruchus chinensis is trans-2-Hexenal>Caproaldehyde>Benzaldehyde>Salicylaldehyde>Octanal. The select from highest to lowest of the mated Callosobruchus chinensis is trans-2-Hexenal>Caproaldehyde>Benzaldehyde> Octanal>Salicylaldehyde. Only Benzaldehyde can take the EAG shown is different among which unmated and mated Callosobruchus chinensis.3. Y-tube olfactometer was used to test the attractiveness of five single compounds to Callosobruchus chinensis. The results showed that the attractiveness to Callosobruchus chinensis was different among five single compounds, the concentration of 100?g/?L Benzaldehyde, trans-2-Hexenal temptation showed positive taxis, whereas showed obviously negative taxis to Caproaldehyde.4. From the SEM result, There are eight kinds of sensillum on Callosobruchus chinensis antennae, that is Sensilla trichoid (type ? and type ?), Sensilla chaetica, Sensilla basiconis (type ? and type ?), Sensilla styloconica, Sensilla coeloconica, Sensilla cavity, Grooved peg, Capitate peg, BOhm bristles.
