In worldwide,mycotoxin contamination remained serious,especially for developing countries,it caused livestock performance degradation,death,toxin residues and other problems,which brought serious economic losses and potential food safety risk to mankind.For this reason,people were trying to remove mycotoxins in feed with adsorbents.In this study,a new compound adsorbent BG was got from natural montmorillonite based on different nano-modification technology,in order to make a single component of adsorbents products which could have a good adsorption effect on AFB1,ZEA and DON.The in vitro experiment:investigating the adsorption capacity of the domestic production of the three provinces of montmorillonite adsorbents for AFB1,ZEA and DON;scanning electron microscopy BG;comparing the adsorption capacity of BG,commercial adsorbents and natural montmorillonite;analysing BG adsorption principle through isothermal adsorption experiment;evaluating the effects of different pH values and oscillation time on mycotoxin adsorption rate;evaluating the effect of AFB1,ZEA,DON,vitamin B6 and vitamin C on the adsorption of BG.The results were as following:the adsorption capacity of BG for AFB1,ZEA and DON were stronger than commercially adsorbents and natural montmorillonite;the adsorption rate was 100%,87.67%and 88.80%when added at 100 mg.Isothermal adsorption experiment results showed the adsorption of BG for AFB1 and ZEA were fitted Langmuir equation from the fitting degree and the maxium amount were 1897.1 ng·mg-1 and 1405.4 ng·mg-1,respectively;the adsorption of BG for DON fitted Freundlich equation and the maxium amount which DON adsorbed was 1501.0 ng·mg-1;when the pH value changes from acidic to alkaline,the adsorption of BG for three mycotoxins didn't significantly reduce;when prolonged oscillation time,the adsorption rate of BG for three mycotoxins increased in varying degrees;AFB1,ZEA and DON could effect the adsorption of BG for single mycotoxin;the effects of vitamin B6 and vitamin C on three mycotoxins adsorption of BG were not significant.The in vitro experiment:determining the maximum amount of BG in broiler feed;fed chickens and evaluated the effects on detoxification in vivo:120 1 day-old A A strain of broiler chicks were weighed and randomly divided into four treatments?A.basal diet;B.basal diet+0.25%BG;C.contaminated;D.contaminated+0.25%BG?with three replications of ten chicks per treatment.The term of experiment was 42 days and body weight was recorded every 7 days.At the end of experiment,four chickens from each replicate were taken out randomly,weighed and calculated broiler performance and then slaughtered.Blood sampleswere collected for the determination of blood biochemical parameters and antioxidant levels;the liver,kidney,spleen,thymus,bursa of fabricius and chest muscle were collected and their weight was expressed in g-100 g-1 of body weight;analysed serum protein levels of IL-1?,IL-6 and TNF-a;liver,kidney and chest muscle were homogenated and tissue mycotoxins residue were detected.The results were as following:the maximum amount of BG was 0.5%,and the specific added amount depended on mycotoxin contamination of feed availability.In the vivo experiment,BG didn't affect the broiler performance;it could improve the growth retardation,low feed conversion and other issues caused by mycotoxins;simply added BG would not affect blood biochemical parameters change of broilers,and it could improve the damage of liver while feeding contaminated feed;simply added BG would not affect organ weights or immunity organ weights,but it could relieve hepatomegaly caused by contaminated feed;BG eliminated mycotoxin residues in tissues;simply added BG would not cause changes in the body's antioxidant level,but it could eliminate oxidative stress caused by contaminated feed and reduce the damage of oxygen free radical to the body;BG could relieve the significantly rise of IL-1?,IL-6 and TNF-a while feeding contaminated feed.In summary,BG had excellent adsorption capacity for AFB1,ZEA and DON.Therefore,a new compound adsorbent BG was a safety mycotoxins adsorbents with no obvious toxic effects,which was consistent with its detoxification effect in vitro experiment and in vivo experiment.It could effectively remove the delayed effect of mycotoxins on growth and development,protect the livestock production safety and reduce the economic losses during breeding.
