| Metrosideros excelsa belongs to Metrosideros Myrtaceae, which is a kind of beautiful hardwood ornamental tree species native to New Zealand. Because M. excelsa blossom with red flowers in Christmas, it meets with great favour in New Zealand and is called Christmas tree. In addition, M. excelsa represents New Zealand in the world except the silver fern. Wood of Metrosideros excelsa is hard and can be used to make the hull, building, furniture, plywood and other materials. It also has great values in ecological landscape, construction of ecological public welfare forest and afforestation of barren hills, and good substitute for low-quality forest with large market potential. Metrosideros excelsa cutting seedlings will promote the quality and quantity of seedlings for practical plantation in a relatively short time. Our research on the technical system of Metrosideros excelsa cutting has an important guiding significance for improving the quality and quantity of the Metrosideros excelsa cutting.The experiment on Cuttage matrix components (by red soil:saw bran (3:1), red soil:saw bran (2:1), red soil:saw bran (1:1)), lignified cuttings (shoots, half lignification and lignification completely) and ABT1# reagent quality level (100 mg·L-1-?300 mg·L-1?500 mg·L-1) were studied. From our study, the most suitable method for the cuttings, lignification and rooting agent was summed up. In different seasons (spring, summer, autumn, and winter) we found the fit time for the cuttage seedling of Metrosideros excels. In the treatments of sun-shade net shading rate (50%,66%,80%), fertilization time interval (3 days,5 days,7 days), concentration of fertilizer (300 times,500 times,300 times), we analyzed the seedling raising technology for seedling raising management, seedling survival rate, growth rhythm, the influence of high growth, high ratio. We cultivated 100000 strains through the industrialization of Metrosideros excelsa cutting in seedling nursery stock and calculated the economic benefits. The results of the study are as follows:(1)Influence of three factors of rooting rate followed the sequence as the scion lignification level>matrix> ABT1# rooting agent concentration level. The most obvious combination was saw bran (3:1), spike half lignification, ABT1# rooting agent concentration of 300mg·L-1. The combination named (A1B2C2) was the highest rooting of cuttings, consisting of saw bran (3:1)+ spike of semi lignified+ABT1# rooting agent concentration level of 300mg·L-1, followed by treatment 5 (A2B2C3), the worst is treatment 7 (A3B1C3).(2) The rooting rate size order of cuttings in different seasons of Metrosideros excelsa is winter>summer> autumn> spring. There were no significant differences between summer and fall, as well as winter and spring. The other couples in cuttings rooting rate have significant differences.(3) The cutting seedling survival rate of Metrosideros excelsa by different seedling raising technology (sun-shade net shading rate cycle, fertilization, fertilization concentration) is dealing with combination of the two highest (sun-shade net shading rate 50% concentration of 5 days+ fertilizer+fertilizer cycle 500 times), the seedling survival rate is as high as 95.2%. Through the annual cutting seedling growth rhythm of observation, the result is that the Christmas tree seedling growth slow phase is from December to march of next year. In addition, from April to July is the Christmas tree seedlings fast-growing stage, mid-growing stage in August to October.(4) The economic benefit analysis of cultivating 100 thousand strains of qualified tree cuttings was calculated as follows:when seedlings rooting rate was 93.8%, the seedling survival rate was 84.3%, according to the market price per plant direct profit of 0.24 yuan, profit rate of 43.56%.In the production process, the rooting rate and survival rate of seedlings are also directly affected by the seedling yield benefit, so nursery management for matrix formula suitable for rooting of cuttings is also an important factor in the future. |
