Phytase is widely used in animal production and feed industry. In recent years, a lot of researches focused on the elimination of anti-nutritional activity function by phytase and how to improved phytase enzyme activity. When evaluating the practical application of phytase, most experiments are based on corn-soybean meal diets and use the production performance as the main evaluation index. Hard to find use non-conventional feed ingredients.This study have 2 part to consist. Part 1 focused on the effect of phytase supplement on apparent ileal digestibility (AID) and apparent digestibility (AD) of energy, amino acid, calcium and phosphorus for yellow broilers using replaced method. Part 2 focused on energy value of 4 non-conventional feed ingredients for broiler chickens determined using regression method.Experiment 1 Effects of phytase supplement on AID and AD of nutrients in yellow broilers.This experiment used single factor completely random design.15% corn were replaced by four non-conventional feed ingredients (wheat, rice bran, DDGS, and wheat bran) respectively in reference diet.500 adult yellow broiler chickens were randomly allocated to 10 treatments, each treatment included 5 repeats and each repeat 10 broilers. Treatment 1 feed reference diet without phytase. Treatment 2 feed reference diet+1000U/kg phytase. Treatment 3 feed wheat diet without phytase. Treatment 4 feed wheat diet+1000U/kg phytase. Treatment 5 feed rice bran diet without phytase. Treatment 6 feed rice bran diet +1000U/kg phytase. Treatment 7 feed DDGS diet without phytase. Treatment 8 fedd DDGS diet+1000U/kg phytae. Treatment 9 feed wheat bran diet without phytase. Treatment 10 feed wheat bran+1000U/kg phytase. The results showed that adding phytase had no significant effect on energy and crude protein (P>0.05), but with upward trending. The AD and AID of reference diet calcium increased by 29% and 38% respectively with phytase, and the AID of rest groups add phytase except rice bran had significantly increased (P<0.05). The AD of phosphorus significantly improved by adding phytase, reference diet group, wheat group, rice bran group, DDGS group and wheat bran group have been raised 27%,20%,22%,12%, 19% respectively, Moreover, by adding phytase, AID of phosphorus showed significant rise too (P<0.05).In terms of apparent ileal amino acid digestibility, there was an increase range from 0.68% to 6.05% in reference diet, but no significant difference (P>0.05); Wheat diet group shows increase from 3.40% to 14.46%, Arg, Lys, Thr, Asp, Gly, Tyr significant improved 10.3%,10.3%,14.46%,12.01%,10.2%,10.91% respectively (P<0.05), the other AA had improved, but there was not different (P>0.05). Rice bran group shows increase from 3.51% to 11.02%. Phe, Gly, Ser, Tyr were significant improved 9.16%,8.43%,11.02%, 10.40%, respectively(P<0.05). DDGS diet group shows increase from 1.73% to 21.23%. His, Val, Asp were significant improved 8.45%,21.23%,8.69%, respectively (P<0.05). Wheat bran group shows increase from 3.27% to 10.52%. His, Thr, Gly, Ser were significant improved 8.89%,9.87%,9.28%,10.51%, respectively(P<0.05).Experiment 2. Energy value for barley, triticale, wheat, and rye for broiler chickens determined using the regression method.The energy value of barley, triticale, wheat, rye for broiler chickens were determined in 2 experiments with Ross yellow broiler chickens using regression method. In each experiment, 320 birds were grouped by weight into 8 blocks of 5 cages with 8 birds per cage. There were 5 diets in each experiment consisting of a corn-soybean meal reference diet and 4 test diets. The test diets consisted of each of the barley and triticale (experiment 1), wheat or rye (experiment 2) that partly replaced the energy sources in the reference diet at 250 or 500 g/kg. Experiment results show that using barley, triticale, wheat, and rye that partly replaced the energy sources in the reference diet were no effect on growth performance (P>0.05). Supplementation of barley (linear; P<0.001) in experiment 1 decreased ileal dry matter, nitrogen and energy digestibility, total tract utilization of dry matter, nitrogen and energy, respectively. For triticale (quadratically; P<0.05) in experiment 1 decreased ileal dry matter, energy digestibility, and metabolizable energy. Supplementation wheat in experiment 2 the results showed the quadratically term were significant difference of ileal dry matter and energy digestibility, IDE, respectively. Linear term were significant difference of total tract utilization of dry matter, energy, N-corrected energy (P<0.05), and extremely significant difference of total tract utilization for nitrogen (P<0.001). Supplementation rye in experiment 2 the results showed the linear term significant difference of ileal energy digestibility (P<0.05), extremely significant difference of total tract utilization of dry matter and nitrogen. For quadratically term, ileal dry matter, energy and IDE were significant difference (P<0.05) and total tract utilization of dry matter, nitrogen, energy, N-corrected energy, ME and MEn were extremely significant difference (P<0.001). By regressing the barley, triticale, wheat and rye-associated IDE intake in kilocalories against kilograms of barley, triticale, wheat and rye intake, the regression equation wereY1a=29(20)+2224(107)×barley+2625(100)×triticale,Y1b=111(38)+2529(166)×wheat+2858(170)×rye.Similarly, the ME regression equation wasY2a=2.7(15)+2508(80)×barley+2820(75)×triticale,Y2b=94(35)+2820(153)×wheat+3000(156)×rye.For MEn the regression equation wasY3a=2.2(14)+2460 (74)×barley+2730 (69)×triticale,Y3b=84(32)+2693(141)×wheat+2825(144)×rye.
