In recent years, with the increase of agricultural organic waste emissions, environmental pollution and waste of resources is a problem that can not be ignored in today's society. To this end, this study to take indoor culture test and pot experiment combined with the method, aiming at the current pollution and treatment status of sheep manure and mushroom residue, the earthworm composting experiment was carried out according to different proportions.By analyzing the growth and reproduction status of earthworms and the change of material properties before and after treatment, the optimum material ratio was selected and further explored the best inoculation density of earthworms. On the basis of this, the effects of application of vermicompost on the growth, yield and quality of lettuce were discussed, which provided the basis for the treatment of sheep manure and mushroom residue and the utilization of vermicompost. The main conclusions are as follows:1.Compared with the raw materials of fresh sheep manure and mushroom residue, earthworms grow better in the mixed material of fermented sheep manure and mushroom residue.Among them, the most suitable for earthworm growth and reproduction of the material ratio is 20%mushroom residue+80%fermented sheep manure and 50%mushroom residue + 50%fermented sheep manure.2.The process of earthworm composting significantly promoted the degradation of sheep manure and mushroom residue. The content of organic matter decreased after earthworm composting.Total nitrogen, total phosphorus, total potassium and available N,available P and available K contents increased, and the pH decreased from alkaline to near neutral.3.When the density is too high or too low will affect the growth and development of earthworms during earthworms dealing with organic waste. The best inoculation density was 32 to 48 earthworms(Eisenia foedita)per kilogram of air-dried material, which was fed with mushroom residue and sheep manure.4.The application of vermicompost can improve the lettuce's yield, plant height, number of leaf and the nutritional quality.Compared with the single application of chemical fertilizers, the application of the vermicompost increased the contents of soluble protein, chlorophyll, total amino acids and 17 different amino acids in different degrees. At the same time, the lettuce's moisture content and nitrate content were reduced. On the whole, the best effect was found when the proportion of vermicompost was 30%-50%.5.The application of vermicompost promotes the absorption of nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, calcium, magnesium, manganese, nickel, copper, zinc, molybdenum, iron, sodium and cobalt elements. While reducing the content of lettuce in chromium, arsenic, cadmium and lead in lettuce.6.Combination of vermicompost and fertilizer improved the ultrastructure of lettuce leaves cells, increased the number of mitochondria and the cristae were clear;chloroplast lamellae increased, osmiophilic globules and the starch grains decreased, which means increasing the efficiency of photosynthesis and cellular energy supply.
