This study mainly combines simulating rumen fermentation technology in vitro with the feeding experiment in vivo to study the suitable proportion of associative effects between Leymus chinensis and Urtica cannbinau for rumen fermentation, and the influences of associative effects between Leymus chinensis and Urtica cannbinau on digestion performance, growth performance and slaughter performance of the Wujumuqin lamb to provide suitable proportion of Leymus chinensis/Urtica cannbinau for sheep production, after that, further promoting the Urtica cannbinau in livestock production, enriching the roughage resources of our country. The experiment includes the following three parts:Exp.1 Influences of Associative Effects between Leymus chinensis and Urtica cannbinau on Rumen Microbial Fermentation in vitroThis experiment was conducted to study the influences of associative effects between Leymus chinensis and Urtica cannbinau on rumen fermentation parameters in vitro.Respectively using different proportion of Leymus chinensis/Urtica cannbinau as substrate(0:100,A;30:70,B;50:50,C;70:30,D;100:0,E)to carny out rumen microbes culture in vitro.Sampling time points was set as 0,1,3,6,12,24 h.The results show that the sampling time has a significant effect on pH value of rumen fermentation in vitro(P<0.05).The pH values of group A and group C were significantly higher than other groups' at 1h,3h and 6h(P<0.05);Group C had the highest pH value at 24 h(P<0.05).The proportion of Leymus chinensis and Urtica cannbinau had significant effect on the medium NH3-N concentration in vitro(P<0.05).The NH3-N concentrations of Group A and group B were significantly higher than those pf the other groups at 3 h,6 h,12 h and 24 h(P<0.05).The proportion of Leymus chinensis and Urtica cannbinau had significant effects on the medium MCP in vitro(P<0.05).The MCP of group A and group C were significantly higher at 1 h,3 h and 6 h(P<0.05),with group C's MCP being the highest at 24 h(P<0.05).The experiment shows that group C(50:50)has higher pH value, meanwhile, having relatively low NH3-N concentration and relatively high MCP.All of the consequences consistently indicates that the proportion(50:50)is conducive to the growth and fermentation of rumen microorganisms in vitro.Exp.2 Influences of Associative Effects between Leymus chinensis and Urtica cannbinau on Growth Performance and Digestibility in Wuzhumuqing LambThe experiment was conducted to study the effects of associative effects between Leymus chinensis and Urtica cannbinau on apparent digestibility and rumen fermentation parameters of Wujumqin lamb.Using the completely randomized design,32 healthy lamb Wujumqin with same month-age and weight, were randomly divided into 4 groups of similar weight, respectively fed with dietl(Native grass),diet2(Leymus chinensis:Urtica cannbinau = 1:0),diet3(Leymus chinensis:Urtica cannbinau = 0:1),diet4(Leymus chinensis:Urtica cannbinau = 1:1).The preliminary feeding period was 2 weeks, with the experimental period being 2 months. The results showed that the average daily gain(202.16 g/d)of dietl was significantly higher than these of the others(P<0.05),but there was no significant difference between the diet2,diet2 and diet4.It was also observed that, the diet3 has significantly lower dry matter digestibility, organic matter digestibility and protein digestibility than diet2's on the 30th day(P<0.05),but the difference between diet2 and diet3 on the 60th day were not significant(P>0.05);The NDF digestibility of diet4 is significantly higher than diet2's on the 30th and 60th day(P<0.05);The rumen ammonia concentrations of diet3 at 30th day and 60th day were significantly higher than the other groups'(P<0.05),the total VFA concentration of diet3 was significantly lower than diet2's,with the ethylene propylene being significantly higher than diet2's(P<0.05);The bacterial protein of rumen fluid of diet3 in 30th day was less than diet2's,but there was no significant difference in the total rumen microbial protein content and pH among the groups(P>0.05).All of above results show that, the body weight gain performance of diet4 which the ratio of Leymus chinensis and Urtica cannbinau being 1:1 in the diet and is close to dietl, and also this diet does not affect Wuzhumuqin lamb feed nutrient digestibility and rumen fermentation parameters, even that,it can improve the digestibility of fiber material to a certain extent.Exp.3 Influences of Associative Effects between Leymus chinensis and Urtica cannbinau on Slaughter Performance and Blood Biochemical Indices of Wuzhumuqing sheepThis experiment was conducted to study the associative effects between Urtica cannabina and Leymus chinensis on slaughter performance and blood biochemical indexes of Wuzhumuqin lamb.Designed like Exp.2.The results showed that the net meat rate of diet2 was the highest(P<0.05),with no significant difference between diet2 and diet4;differences in GR value, abdominal fat and tail weight are significantly(P<0.05),with a minimum of diet4.There were no significant differences in other organs such as index of heart, liver, spleen, lung, kidney, large intestine and appendix(P>0.05),with the exception of lung, rumen and small intestine(P<0.05).The rumen/stomachus of diet 4 is lowest(P<0.05),with the abomasum/complex stomach and omasum/stomachus being highest(P<0.05).In terms of blood biochemical indexes, the content of alanine aminotransferase of diet4 was significantly lower than these of the other three groups(P<0.05),and the albumin content of diet2 and diet3 were significantly higher than that other two groups'(P<0.05).The content of glucose and total cholesterol of diet3 were significantly higher than those of dietl' and diet2'(P<0.05).The content of T-AOC and CAT of diet3 were all the highest(P<0.05),while the content of MAD of dietl was significantly higher than the other 3 groups'(P<0.05).In conclusion,diet4 had a good complex stomach development and good health status, and the diet, with the proportion of Leymus chinensis/Urtica cannbinau being 1:1 is more suitable for sheep production.
