Based on the research of literature and specimens about Buddleja plants resources in Hunan Province,choosing Changsha,Shaoyang,Huaihua,Zhangjiajie,Yongzhou,5 typical regions were germplasm resource investigated.The investigation content includes:plant species,growth status,habitat characteristics,ornamental characteristics,community characteristics,etc.The present situation of this genus was analyzed from Buddleja plants resources natural distribution,ecological adaptability,ornamental characteristics and community composition.Based on the investigation and study,using the analytic hierarchy process(AHP)to structure the comprehensive evaluation system of Buddleja plants landscape application in Hunan Province.The comprehensive evaluation of landscape application was made from three aspects of ornamental characteristics,ecological adaptability and landscape application value.Combined with the above research,analysed the advantage of Buddleja in landscape application,put forward its rich application form and the problems and suggestions in the application of Landscape Architecture.The main research conclusions are as follows:(1)Through the study of literature shows that there are seven species of Buddleja plants in Hunan area,such as Buddleja lindleyana,B.davidii,B.albiflora.At present,Buddleja plants' research mainly focus on resource distribution,propagation and cultivation,medicinal value,landscape application,chemical composition and biological activity etc,to understand the research of progress at home and abroad.(2)During the study,through the investigation of Changsha,Shaoyang,Huaihua,Zhangjiajie and Yongzhou,mainly found B.lindleyana,B.davidii,B.albiflora,B.asiatica 4 species of plants,which of them the highest frequency is B.lindleyana,the lowest frequency is B.albiflora and B.asiatica,B.albiflora located in Zhangjiajie,the B.asiatica is distributed in Shaoyang.The investigation results show that the 4 species of plants like sunshine,but it grows well in sparse and edge of forest,there were no strictly requirements for environment.In the wild,the environment of them were affected by human interference was serious,such as deforestation,herding sheep etc.They main live on the side of the mountain road,water's edge,rock crevice,abandoned land,etc,B.lindleyana can grow alongside Mn mine,Zn mine.Plants are mostly shrubs,height of 1-8m.They have rich of architecture,branches and leaves whirling,with rustic beauty,they take flowers and plant type as the principal thing.(3)Using the method of grey correlation analysis,analyzing the correlation degree of the 4 investigated plants' ecological adaptability.The highest correlation is B.asiatica,followed by B.davidii and B.lindleyana,last is B.albiflora.The values of correlation were greater than 0.8,which indicated that the ecological adaptability of the 4 plants from the natural distribution to the urban green space was strong.Combined the morphological characteristics and ornamental characteristics,which included the dendritic texture,foliage characteristics,flowering characteristics,ornamental period,green period,odd characteristics,aromaticity etc,analysed its landscape value of comprehensive,put forward the potential application in landscape.(4)Study found that 4 kinds of plants clustering distribution less,which typical Buddleja plants community in the investigated area are B.lindleyana community and B.davidii community.Such as Liuyang Daweishan Buddleja community,the main companion species are Cunninghamia lanceolata,Fagopyrum esculentum,Patrinia scabiosaefolia,Achyranthes bidentata etc;Immortal Brook Buddleia davidii community of Zhangjiajie,the main companion species are Koelreuteria bipinnata,Rhus chinensis,Rosa laevigata,Miscanthus sinensis etc.There are two types of community:shrub + herbaceous,arbor + shrub + herbaceous,The largest number of herbaceous plants in companying plants,in which give first place to Compositae,Gramineae,Polygonaceae,Labiatae,Pteridophyta,etc.(5)Using the AHP method to structure the evaluation system.In the constraint layer,the weight of the ecological adaptability factor is the highest,which is 0.5816.In the standard layer,from the ornamental characteristics,flowering characteristics factor of the highest weight of 0.3232;From the point of view of ecological adaptability,the weight value of resistance factor is the highest,which is 0.4991;According to the application value of the landscape,the weight value of reproduction difficulty factor is the highest,which is 0.5396.The total value of the top five ranking weight from large to small for stress resistance,growth vigor,flowering characteristics,ecological benefit,ornamental period.Comprehensive evaluation index:B.lindleyana>B.davidii>B.albiflora>B.asiatica>80%,belong to grade 1,it shows that Buddleja plants have have high development and utilization value.(6)According to the evaluation results,field investigation and analysis,ornamental characteristics,habitat characteristics and other comprehensive analysis,showed that Buddleja plants of Hunan ecological restoration of good performance,strong adaptability,high ornamental value,low maintenance cost,conducive to the creation of conservation,ecological civilization,beautiful landscape city.They can be created for flower border,flower belts,hedge,foundation planting,road and slope greening,waterfront greening,specified plant garden,rock garden landscape,special environment greening and other forms of landscape.
