Pickup baler is one of the grass harvest machine.Spring-finger cylinder pickup collector is the main working parts of pickup baler.And power consumption is one of the important performance indexes of pickup collector.To relize the prediction and control of the power consumption,theoretical analysis and experimental test on spring-finger cylinder pickup collector are carried out.Power consumption of spring-finger pickup cylinder collector is mainly used to overcome the resistance in the process of collecting grasses.Through doing dynamic analysis of spring-fingers to research the influence law of grass harvesting conditions and working parameters on the power consumption.Theoretical analysis presents that the main influencing factors to power consumption are density of grass strips,cylinder revolving speed,speed of advance and moisture content.On the basis of theoretical analysis,taking alfalfa as collect object;taking density of grass strips,cylinder revolving speed,speed of advance and moisture content as test factors;taking power consumption and leakage rate of picking up as performance index,orthogonal experiments were done on the spring-finger pickup cylinder collector device.The results of variance analysis and regression analysis present the affecting sequence of three factors on the power consumption were cylinder rotational speed,swath density,machine forward speed and moisture content;cylinder rotational speed has extremely significant effects on the working performance,density of grass strips,speed of advance and moisture content have significant effects on the working performance;the biggest relative error of regression equation between index and factors is 7.2%Qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis were carried out through dynamic analysis and orthogonal experiments on the spring-finger pickup cylinder collector.The theory of Spring-finger cylinder pickup collector will be more complete.
