Study On Photosynthetic And Morphology Characteristics And Leaf Essential Oil From Different Provenances Of Cinnamomum Camphora (L.) Presl.

By studying the seedling growth and leaf traits of different provenances Cinnamomum camphora,comparing their photosynthetic characteristics,analysiing their leaf essential oil content and chemical type,we will provide the scientific basis for selecting the clones with high biomass,high oil content and high principal component ratio.We have collected the seeds of 41 provenances from seven provinces which are Jiangxi,Fujian,Hunan,Jiangsu,Guangdong,Hubei and Sichuan.With sowing and unified management,we regularly determinated the seedling growth and tested the main chemical composition and content of the Cinnamomum camphora leaves essential oil with GC-MS.(1)Different provenances of Cinnamomum camphora have diurnal variation curve of net photosynthetic rate with the unimodal type curve,which were first growth and then slowed,with the peak concentration at 11 PM at noon.Stomatal conductance,transpiration rate,and the change curve are positively correlated with net photosynthetic rate curve of diurnal variation.Diurnal variation of intercellular CO2 concentration curve are negatively related with net photosynthetic rate,transpiration rate and stomatal conductance.(2)The seedling height,ground diameter,branch length and petiole length of different provenances of Cinnamomum camphora have significant difference,but have no significant difference between leaf length and leaf width.The longitude and altitude of different provenances have significant influences on seedling height,ground diameter and leaf traits,but the influence of latitude,the soil layer thickness and the annual average temperature is smaller;There are very significant positive correlation between Cinnamomum camphora seedling height,ground diameter,branch length,leaf length,leaf width and petiole.(3)The leaf essential oil of Cinnamomum camphora contains 34 chemical compositions with a relative content of more than 1%,in which there are 8 kinds of chemical composition have a higher contribution rate on the essential oil,which are beta pinene,alpha pinene,eucalyptus oil,juniperene,terpineol,camphor,beta and olefine and linalool;The chemical compositions of leaf essential oil between Guangdong,Sichuan and Hunan have strong relativity.The chemical composition of leaf essential oil between different provenances ofFujian,Jiangxi and Jiangsu have a significant difference.The photosynthetic characteristics,growth and leaf essential oil composition and content of Cinnamomum camphora planting seedlings of different provenances have a significant difference,and we can cultivate fine clones through early selection.
