Desmodium styracifolium is originated from dried aerial parts of D.styracifolium and Guangdong and Guangxi Traditional Chinese medicine.With the wide application of D.styracifoliumin,coupled with the destruction of the ecological environment,wild resources gradually reduced,can not meet the clinical medication and the market demand,the market circulation mainly in the cultivation of products.Expanding the scale of artificial cultivation is an effective way to alleviate the contradiction between supply and demand.However,if we do not consider the ecological suitability of arbitrary culivation,it will result in a decline in the quality of medicinal materials,waste of land and resources.D.styracifolium research mainly focus on cultivation techniques,chemical constituents,pharmacological action and other aspects,it has not been reported in ecological suitability.The Research on growth and quality suitability division of D.styracifolium were formulated by Maxent and ArcGIS model based on the content of schaftoside,flavonoid and polysaccharide of D.styracifolium,its field research and the theory of ecological niche model,the main results are as follows:The single factor variance analysis showed that there were significant differences among different habitats in the content of schaftoside,flavonoid and polysaccharide of D.styracifoliumin.The results of variance analysis showed that flavone in Laibin,Baise,Suixi were significantly higher than that in other regions(p<0.01);polysaccharide in Haifeng was significantly higher than in other regions(p<0.01);schaftoside in Puning was significantly higher than in other regions(p<0.01);cluster analysis results show that the 3 kinds of chemical components have no obvious boundaries.The growth suitability results indicated that: Average air temperature in April,mean temperature of coldest quarter,soil type,coldness index,average annual precipitation and maximum monthly precipitation were found as the four dominant factors contributing to the plant growth.The growth zoning map shows that D.styracifolium is mainly distributed in Guangdong Province,Guangxi Province,Hainan Province,the southeast coast of Fujian,southeastern Yunnan and the eastern coastal region of Taiwan province scattered.The most suitable for the growth of D.styracifolium areas are mainly the southern coastal area of northern Hainan Island,Eastern Guangdong Province,Southeast of Leizhou Peninsula,Lianjiang,Maoming,Yangjiang,Yunfu.The quality suitability results indicated that: Polysaccharide content and precipitation in April show significant positive correlation;schaftoside content and mean temperature of April,mean temperature of coldest quarter show significant negative correlation.Schaftoside content shows significant negative correlation with the precipitation in October and November and the sunshine duration in April and May,while there is a significant positive correlation between Schaftoside content and precipitation in April and temperature seasonality standard deviation,and a highly significant positive correlation was found between schaftoside content and precipitation in February and March.The quality zoning map was drawed depend on general content of polysaccharide and schaftoside as the index of quality.The highest Schaftoside areas are mainly located in the northern coast of Hainan,northwest of the coastal and central regions scattered;the highest polysaccharide content distributed in the area of central Guangxi,central Guangdong and north Leizhou.
