As a traditional agricultural country,Chinese agricultural water has always been the focus of attention,according to the “CPC Central Committee on The Development of National Economic And Social Development Thirteenth Five-Year Plan Recommendations" which was adopted on October 2015,China will implement the most stringent water resource management scheme,so the innovation of irrigation equipment,improvement of irrigation efficiency,promote of spray irrigation and micro-irrigation including water-saving irrigation technology are the future Chinese agricultural development trend.Reel-type irrigators are very suitable for Chinese current situation considering the reel-type irrigators' affordable price,simple operation,uniform spraying,high irrigation efficiency,thus those make the reel-type irrigators promising market potential in the future.However,Chinese current application of the reel-type irrigators commonly use hydraulic turbine as PE pipe recoverying power,which controls the speed of reel recovery by controlling valve opening.The inherent characteristics of mechanical hydraulic turbine may also cause reel recoverying speed instable,low-speed conditions poor,spraying uneven and some other problems.This paper uesd the widely-used electrical–drive JP75-250/D-type reel-type irrigators focusing on motor automative control as example,summed up some key technical issues and made some innovative research as follow:1.Aiming at the poor low-speed conditions,the narrow speed range,the inconvenient speed adjustment as well as other shortcomings which widely existed in the traditional mechanical hydraulic turbine application,brushless DC motor was used instead of the traditional mechanical hydraulic turbine as reel-type irrigator power system,controller was developed based on STM32,the closed-loop control of speed was introduced,which enhance the anti-interference ability of the disturbance,and the stability of the reel recovery.2.Reel-type irrigator often involves the switch of reel in the course of work,the motor speed adjustment was needed to maintain the stability of the reel recovery speed with the increasement of reel radius.The traditional adjustment method is usually based on the experience of staff,this system will be programmed to change the motor speed automatically based on the default operating condition parameters and the empirical formula were developed to ensure the automative operation of reel-type irrigators.3.For the operation of traditional reel-type irrigator requires the participation of workers,client based on Android system and the Internet of things was designed,to help the staff monitor and control the operation of the reel-type irrigators remotely.According to the experiment,brushless DC motor can run at the set speed,and rotational speed can be quickly returned to the set value under 10% of the load disturbance.The client based on the Android system can remotely monitor the operation of the brushless DC motor,feedback motor-related working condition parameters as need;The controller can automatically generate different operating condition parameters within a complete operation and control the motor to make the appropriate adjustment by setting the PE pipe recoverying speed,transmission gear,PE pipe length on the Android-based client.
