| Chicken coccidiosis is one of the most serious diseases in the breeding process.Currently,the wide application of coccidia is still chemical based-anti-coccidia in clinical treatment,especially as a feed additive.Due to some types of coccidia and the reproductive stage(sexual stage of sexual reproduction,asexual reproduction stage and spore reproductive stage),multiple drugs or the rational drug combination is implemented in the prevention and treatment of coccidiosis in different stages to achieve a better therapeutic effect.With the wide application of chemical drugs,the problems of coccidial drug resistance gradually increase,and the use of chemical drugs may inflict some severe damage on animal body,especially nephrotoxicity and immunosuppressive effect in the large doses of sulfonamides.Chinese herbal medicine has advantages without drug resistance,adverse reactions,immunosuppression,adverse treatment,and non-toxic side effects,and also good prevention and treatment effect on the coccidiosis.Therefore,Chinese herbal medicine on coccidiosis must be strengthened.In our study,a new anti-coccidia chinese herbal formulas is constructed by removal of the fleece-flower root and addition with Changshan to increase the insecticidal effect.To solve the slow onset and the length of treatmentof traditional Chinese medicine,therapeutic effect on the formula combination with DVD was carried out,which reduce the use of chemical drugs and the cost of drugs.The research contents are as follows:1.Screening the best anti-chicken Eimeria multicolor in Chinese medicineTo screen the traditional Chinese medicine(Artemisia annua,Changshan,agrimony,Pulsatilla,Rou Gui)in Changshan and the best proportion of Artemisia annua,3 draft prescription(with Changshan Artemisia respectively 1:0.5,1:1,1:2)were preparated.The therapeutic effect of 3 treatment trials on the artificially infected chicken coccidiosis was carried out through the addition with 20g/kg dose.The experimental data shown that the survival rates were 83%,90% and 87%;the relative weight gain rates were 86.77%,94.43% and 92.12%,respectively.The index of anti coccidiosis was 163.77,179.83 and 174.72,respectively.The results showed that 3prescriptions has for obvious therapeutic effects on chicken Eimeria coccidiosis.thereinto,prescription 2(Artemisia annua and Changshan 1:1 ratio)was used for further study due to the best effect.2.Screening the best dose of new Chinese medicine prescription and DVD combinationTo screen the combination with anti coccidiosis medicines(Artemisia annua,Changshan,agrimony,Pulsatilla,cinnamon)and antibacterial synergist DVD(40PPM))in treatment effect of artificial infection of Eimeria tenella coccidiosis,the concentration of 3 different formula was divided into different groups and uniformly mixed in the feed.Group 1: low dose with 10g/kg,group 2: medium dose with 20 g/kg,group 3: high dose group combined with 30 g/kg and DVD(40PPM),group 4: DVD(40 ppm),group 5: control group,group 6: positive control.The experimental data shown that the survival rate of the group 1,group 2,group 3,and group 4 was 93%,97%,97%,and 83%;the cecal lesions were 4.8,4.5,4.3,and 5.2;the oocyst value were 1,0,0,and 1;the anticoccidiosis index were 173.8,181.77,187.79,and 160.83.Group 2 and group 3 were able to achieve efficient anticoccidial effect.Considering the economic benefit,group 2 with middle dose Chinese medicine(20 g/kg)feed and DVD(40 ppm/d)was used as the new traditional Chinese medicine group for further study.3.Clinical Trial of New Chinese Medicine Prescription Combined with DVD in Chicken CoccidiosisTo determine the treatment effect of the new anticoccidial prescription of traditional Chinese medicine combined with antibacterial synergist DVD in natural infection of Eimeria tenella coccidiosis,the combination was uniformly mixed in the feed.The experimental data shown that the reduction rates in the combination group and the control group after administration of 5 days were 99.12% and 98.80%,respectively.The survival rate in the combination group was 0.13% higher than the control group,and a decrease of 0.17 in the feed-meat ratio was found in the combination group.The results showed that the combination of 20g/kg feed dosage with DVD(40 ppm/d)for 5 consecutive days was more effective than the traditional anticoccidial drugs for the treatment of coccidiosis in chickens.The results showed that the optimum ratio of Artemisia annua and Changshan new anticoccidial compound(1:1)has good therapeutic effect on chicken Eimeria coccidiosis,the protection rate and ACI in chicken were 90% and 179.83,respectively.The best dosage of Artemisia and Changshan anticoccidial prescription(1:1)combinated with DVD(40ppm/d)was 20 g/kg,and the drug combination has goodtherapeutic effect on chickens infected artificially and naturally with Eimeria coccidiosis after 5 consecutive days. |
